I went through such an annoying journey so I feel like I have to try and prevent this from happening ever again so here's a tutorial on how to set up these v2ray servers on Linux(I'm using arch but should work everywhere else)
1. Install v2rayA
Not one single other application worked for me and believe me I tried.
Not clash-for-windows, not clash-verge and not qv2ray. some of them had a bootstrapping problem, meaning I needed another vpn just to download/configure them.
You can find the install instructions in the Github page but your two options for Linux are generally AUR or Snap(There's a docker version too)
2. run
