When things are going downhill... When situations are not how we'll like them to be... When we're overwhelmed... When we need help... Jesus dey for us- and He wants us to always remember that. God is our refuge and strength, always ready to help in times of trouble.

We can't serve God on our own terms. I believe it's not for nothing that we accept Jesus as LORD as we do as Saviour. Being born again is not just about us saying a "sinner's prayer", but about surrendering our lives to God. We can't serve God on our own terms. Throughout the Bible and even now, God makes His People understand that they must not have any other gods before Him- and that includes they themselves being their own gods. The call of salvation was a call to admit our status as sinners, accept His pardon and surrender our lives to Him. Why can't we serve God on our terms? One analogy we can consider is a person not too good at driving having a car that's also in bad condition. As a result, the person is always involved in countless accidents on their journey which cause serious injury to themselves or others or both. Then, because of the great love of their Father, they get a new car, but, they still drive. Even before they move, it's clear that they are going to make a wreck of things- for themselves and for others because the driver hasn't changed. Similarly, I believe that that's what happens when we decide to be born again and not allow God to help us surrender EVERYTHING to Him. It is not an easy journey, but we can only stay on the best path and drive the best way when He has full control of the wheel. Otherwise, we will make a wreck of our faith, our lives, our families, our destinies and even that of others. Let's choose not to serve God on your own terms. As we journey with Him, let's give the Holy Spirit full access and full control to everything in our lives. For the things that are hard to surrender, lets keep talking to Him about them and go into His Word as well. God truly has plans for our good and not for evil- to give us a future and a hope. He wants us to walk in them, but we can only do so when we're walking by His terms🤍

The end is here. All the signs of the end our King gave us are unfolding. The "soon" we keep hearing has proved true, and our Master said He is coming like a thief; no one knows the day nor the hour. Are you getting ready for His return? Where are you preparing to spend the next and eternal chapter of your life at? Have you gotten your "ticket" to heaven by believing in the Lord and surrendering to Him? Are you keeping watch and staying ready to make sure that you don't miss it? The end is here. All the signs of the end are unfolding. The "soon" we keep hearing has proved true, and our Master said He is coming like a thief. Let's get ready and stay ready!

You can live a porn-free life. You can live a drugs-free life. You can live a betting-free life. Not by your own strength or will-power, but by the power of the life-giving Spirit. Many of us our proof of this- that we can break free and stay free. Not by our own strength or willpower, but by the power of the life-giving Holy Spirit.
