The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) in collaboration with Entrepreneurship Development Institute (EDI) organized an Agri-Innovation Bootcamp Challenge which is a Call for Application to the Agri-Innovation Bootcamp 2023 (referred to as “CALL”). This CALL targets young and women entrepreneurs in agriculture to bring their innovative ideas to solve critical agrifood system challenges in sustainable manner. The bootcamp aims to identify innovative teams and ideas, which can be invited to a two-week tailor-made training to start-ups who are mature their promising concepts and ensure their commercialization. This competitive “CALL” aims to facilitate capacity development of youth and women to innovate, provide a networking and showcasing platform to promote and upscale their ideas and offer tailor-made training for startups leading to maturity and eventually to commercialization. Who Can Apply?  Ethiopian citizen,  Youth and women between the age of 18-35  Innovators with an innovative idea in Agricultural Sector including Digital solutions that will also solve challenges in agri-food system in sustainable and profitable ventures  Applicants NOT accessed a similar training/provision at least with in the past 2 years.
