The feeling of hunger and thirst this Ramadan will be faint. Gazans are starving to death, while we can simply wait for sunset to break our fast. No food can be delicious when these children are starving. No holidays can be enjoyable when these children run out of tears crying. I try to keep topic of this channel. Starting from XXI century, humans are considered as the only creatures who die more from eating than being hungry. According to WHO, worldwide, more than 1.9 Billion people are overweight, including more than 1 Billion with obesity — 650 million adults, 340 million adolescents and 39 million children. At least 2.8 million people die each year as a result of being overweight or obese. [1] Yet, there is still who live under starvation. Every day, 25,000 people, including more than 10,000 children, die from hunger and related causes. This is more thah 9 million deaths annually. 854 million people worldwide are estimated to be undernourished, and increasing prices may drive another 100 million into poverty and hunger. [2] There is more than enough food produced in the world to feed everyone on the planet. Yet there's still millions who die from hunger every year.
