Most at-risk firms are smaller banks representing assets under $10 billion, with a handful of larger regional ones. Some might be able to avoid closing by halting expansion plans or offering fewer services. Others might save themselves by merging with larger banks. But with inflation too high for the Fed to cut now, “higher for longer” interest rate policy is looking increasingly likely, and banks with high exposure to troubled commercial real estate are at particular risk of starting a domino effect of small collapses that lead to bigger ones and bleed into becoming a real estate crisis. … In all its hubris, the Fed is stuck between preventing a banking crisis and preventing inflation from getting even more out of control. It needs higher rates to reduce inflation, but crucial sectors of the economy that are heavily dependent on lending can’t survive in a higher-rate environment, even if they don’t appear insolvent at first glance. There are more than 4,000 regional and community banks throughout the United States, however just one – Republic First Bank – has shuttered since the start of 2024, after the FDIC seized $4 billion in deposits and $6 billion in assets last month. Read more here, here, here, and most detailed here. Meanwhile, UK fund manager, former MEP, and previously Nigel Farage’s economic spokesman Godfrey Bloom has issued a similar warning to Stenlicht, telling former UK parliamentary candidate Jim Ferguson on his podcast that the banks are insolvent. “We are entering a new dark age,” says Bloom, who recommends that people “take your money out of the banks.” Watch: https://x.com/JimFergusonUK/status/1788503981469094071 https://www.zerohedge.com/economics/watch-billionaire-real-estate-investor-expects-one-or-two-bank-failures-week-uk-economist

Russia will not allow anyone to threaten the country, President Vladimir Putin has said at the Victory Day parade
Since invading Ukraine in 2022, Putin has repeatedly made veiled threats to use tactical nuclear weapons against the West.
Det här DCA-avtalet som ger USA rätt till egna baser och vapenlager och möjlighet att placera kärnvapen på 17 orter i vårt land innebär att vi överlåter mycket av vårt självbestämmande till USA....
The donors include some of the biggest names in Democratic circles: Gates, Soros, Rockefeller and Pritzker, according to a POLITICO analysis. Two of the main organizers behind protests at Columbia University and on other campuses are Jewish Voice for Peace and IfNotNow. Both are supported by the Tides Foundation, which is seeded by Democratic megadonor George Soros as well as the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, and it in turn supports numerous small nonprofits that work for social change. (Gates did not return a request for comment, and Soros declined to comment.) Another notable Democratic donor whose philanthropy has helped fund the protest movement is David Rockefeller Jr., who sits on the board of the Rockefeller Brothers Fund. In 2022, the fund gave $300,000 to the Tides Foundation; according to nonprofit tax forms, Tides has given nearly $500,000 over the past five years to Jewish Voice for Peace, which explicitly describes itself as anti-Zionist. https://projects.propublica.org/nonprofits/organizations/510198509/202333189349300213/IRS990ScheduleI https://www.rbf.org/grantees/jewish-voice-peace-inc Several other groups involved in pro-Palestinian protests are backed by a foundation funded by Susan and Nick Pritzker, heir to the Hyatt Hotel empire — and supporters of Biden and numerous Democratic campaigns, including $6,600 to the Biden Victory Fund a few months ago and more than $300,000 during the 2020 campaign.https://www.fec.gov/data/receipts/individual-contributions/?contributor_name=Pritzker%2C+Nicholas&contributor_name=Pritzker%2C+Nick&contributor_name=Pritzker%2C+Susan Biden last week condemned the protests backed by his own donors that at times have become violent. “Destroying property is not a peaceful protest, it’s against the law,” Biden said. “Vandalism, trespassing, breaking windows, shutting down campuses, forcing the cancellation of classes and graduation, none of this is a peaceful protest.” Politico explained that Democrat politics are sometimes at odds with leftist causes, and the Israel-Gaza conflict is the latest example. “The trail of donations shows a series of blurred lines when it comes to liberal causes and Democratic politics,” the outlet reported. “Often those missions are aligned, but they also sometimes have different and — particularly when it comes to Gaza — conflicting agendas and tactics. And a small group of wealthy heavyweights are often playing an outsize role funding many of them.” “Some advisers to left-leaning causes say that’s just part of the way things work when it comes to philanthropic giving,” Politico added. The report must embarrass pundits like Fox News anchor Neil Cavuto, who argued on Friday that Soros had nothing to do with the campus protests. Of course, Infowars was reporting on Soros’ and other prominent leftists’ involvement in these radical protests weeks ago: https://www.politico.com/news/2024/05/05/pro-palestinian-protests-columbia-university-funding-donors-00156135 EMERGENCY WARNING: Deep State Officially Planning To Launch American Civil War https://banned.video/watch?id=662ef4bca9f72ea3d3735f64
Some of the most outspoken groups against Biden and Israel get funding from foundations attached to some of the biggest names in Democratic circles.
