If a person has been low thyroid for a while, their pituitary is likely to be enlarged to some degree, and many people find that they do well on a mixture of T3 and T4 as opposed to either one alone.
Since T4 has a longer half-life than T3, it can offer superior symptom relief over extended periods by prolonging the suppression of the pituitary.
When having trouble with thyroid hormone, remember that taking too much thyroid at once, taking thyroid without food, not measuring the cholesterol to see if it's too low, using ineffective brands of thyroid, and malnutrition are extremely common variables when adapting to thyroid in my limited experience.

If you wake up with stuffed nostrils, you might be running out of CO2 in the middle of the night.
Thyroid, aspirin, progesterone, and sugar before bed can sometimes help by increasing CO2, which can reduce airway inflammation and mucus formation.

If your morning temperature is always low, despite taking thyroid hormone, experiment with aspirin or progesterone/DHEA before bed. Those tend to increase the morning temperature.

Central banks amass record gold reserves as Larry Fink touts Bitcoin as a flight to safety.
Trusting Blackrock, who helped coordinate the economic downturn, and Fink, who wanted to "force behaviors" regarding gender and race, seems risky.

"I can testify that when you are in psychological distress and someone really hears you without passing judgment on you, without trying to take responsibility for you, without trying to mold you, it feels damn good!"

"I donāt fight for things which I donāt win. At least I must be convinced I can win, otherwise I donāt fight... I just give up. I admit defeat and do something else."

A quick way to assess important lab tests from a bioenergetic perspective.
ā High Cholesterol: lower thyroid function
ā Low Cholesterol: sugar, calcium, or vitamin D need; possible infection; possible antiinflammatory need
ā High Prolactin: lower thyroid function; sugar, calcium, vitamin D, or vitamin A need; possible light deficiency; possible bowel problems
ā High Parathyroid Hormone (PTH): calcium, vitamin D, or vitamin K need; lower thyroid function
ā TSH: the TSH can be high or low in serious hypothyroidism
ā Low Testosterone: lower thyroid function; possible bowel problems; calcium, vitamin D, zinc, or vitamin A need
Blood tests make less sense if a person is not collecting their *underarm* temperature and resting pulse rate upon rising and again in the afternoon for a few days to find the average.
Barnes suggested that the underarm temperature shouldn't be lower than 97.8F upon waking and should rise to 98.6F in the afternoon.
Don't forget to perceive, think, act.

Ray was an artist, not a scientist.
Most people in internet health are shitty artists.

The engineered social justice culture is an exploitation of our basic reflexes, which is probably why it's such an effective manipulation technique.
----
"...Love, sympathy and self-sacrifice certainly play an immense part in the progressive development of our moral feelings.
But it is not love and not even sympathy upon which Society is based in mankind.
It is the conscience -- be it only at the stage of an instinct -- of human solidarity.
It is the unconscious recognition of the force that is borrowed by each man from the practice of mutual aid; of the close dependency of every one's happiness upon the happiness of all; and of the sense of justice, or equity, which brings the individual to consider the rights of every other individual as equal to his own.
Upon this broad and necessary foundation the still higher moral feelings are developed.
ā Mutual Aid by P.A. Kropotkin (1902)
"...My idea is that cooperation is a basic reflex of substance; the various fields lead to every event's tending to leave a residue of order behind. In a cosmos thatās growing in mass and energy."
ā Ray Peat (2020)

Ray's reply in 2019 after I sent him my interview with Jay Dyer that continued here (https://dannyroddy.substack.com/p/lost-conversations-with-ray-peat-f2f) when we got on the phone.
"Yesterday I listened to your interview with Jay Dyer; Katherine was in the next room doing something else, and later she asked āwho was that guy channeling Chomsky?ā Sheās more perceptive about voices than I am, but as I was listening I was noticing that he centers on logic, and has the idea that logic can be absolutely clear, and can settle things.
In Mind & Tissue I suggested that the orthodox tradition, closer to the good Arabic translations of Aristotle, gave a good impulse to Russian scienceāthe teleological quality of Vernadsky, Lysenko, Ukhtomsky, Kozyrev, al. I donāt think Ayers could have grown up in the Russian orthodox culture, an impression I get from āhow he talks.ā In the Plato-to-Protestant tradition, consciousness is a matter of ideas associated with speech. In the other tradition, consciousness is a matter of interactions and integration. Empathy is an animal trait, that Ukhtomsky saw involved an essential process in the nervous system, the formation of Dominants, a way of understanding involving our whole being. A baby understands the meaning of a smile, by smiling; animals understand gestures by how they feel when imagined or imitated. This resonant interaction involves spontaneous mutual aid on the local level, of families and neighbors, and, with some luck, on the larger social and ecological levels. From this perspective, language is a means of communication, and sometimes a means of blocking consciousness." RP (2019)

"...In contrast to glycolysis and glutaminolysis, intramitochondrial redox processes strongly contribute to the overall heat production.
Therefore, changes in the measured heat rate indicate an increase/decrease of the electron transfer rate in the mitochondrial chain."

In my limited experience, many of the people that I've talked to who had strange reactions to aspirin ended up having h. pylori infections.
