Just one week to go before the vaccine injured petition to the Senedd runs out. It needs 4250 more signatures to get the debate. There are more than enough freedom fighters, sofa soldiers and keyboard warriors on telegram to cover this. You may remember this template letter which we published back in August following the summer unrest in towns and cities up and down our country. Most would agree that the situation has deteriorated further with the government seemingly intent on breaking every manifesto promise they made - it's almost like Labour are a different party now they are in "power". At the time of writing, more than 2.7 million people have shown their anger at the broken promises and are now calling for a general election via the government's e-petition, which you can find here: https://petition.parliament.uk/petitions/700143. If you haven't signed it already, we urge you to do so and encourage those around you to do so too. What else can you do? 1) Write to your MP. If they are Labour, ask why the promises made in their manifesto have been broken: no one remembers removal of the Winter Fuel Allowance, increased national insurance, farmers being charged inheritance tax being mentioned for example. This is not to mention the jailing of people for tweets and Facebook posts whilst allowing those with category 1 child pornography to walk free. If they are an opposition party then ask them what they plan to do about the measures being imposed by the government. 2) You could arrange to see your MP at their constituency office and ask these questions. You can find out who your MP is here: https://members.parliament.uk/FindYourMP. The momentum built from the petition needs to continue - imagine if we got it to 10 million signatures. We all need to remember that they are in office because we put them there (well some of us did) and they are meant to work for us and not Blackrock or the World Economic Forum!
