Dear St Jamers,
2 weeks ago, we observed Senior Citizen's weekend.
In SJC Treasure Trove's collection of books, we have some that may interest those more senior amongst us. In particular, we have a few books on grandparenting, a special blessing reserved for seniors! Robert Solomon's "A Grand Calling" in one such, as is the Towns' "Great Lessons and Grand Blessings" - reviewed and recommended by one of our members!
Do drop by our booth before SES on 5 Sep, Saturday or after 9am service on 6 Sep, Sunday to browse and borrow our books!
In His Service,
Treasure Trove Ministry

Upper Room is SJC's monthly prayer meeting for all to come and seek God in prayer. The theme for this Friday is "Eager Ears", one of the key themes at our recent SJC Church Camp.
In preparation for this Friday, we encourage you to watch or re-watch Ps Andrew Gardener's sermon on "Eager Ears" at Church Camp. You can find it here: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLd9KdIaaHrEg

Today, we celebrate World Senior Citizens’ Day and give thanks for the wisdom, faith and lives of our seniors in our church and community.
This weekend, we are delighted to welcome Dr Mark Chan, Professor of Systematic Theology at Trinity Theological College, as our guest speaker. He will be sharing from Psalm 121 on the theme “With God Through Time.”
Do invite any seniors, family members or friends who may be interested to join us. It will be a wonderful opportunity to hear God’s Word, spend time together and make new friends.
We look forward to seeing you this weekend! 🙏
