MARINITA & ORHAN AGABEYLI 15/06/24 | 20:00 The Ukrainian artist Marinita (Marina Zakharova) masterfully owns the piano technique and has a colourful ethnic singing style – from Ukrainian folk singing to refined oriental melismatics with perfect intonation, naturally using complex rhythms with an amazing Azeri percussion player Orhan Agabeyli. “DER VERBORGENE FLUSS” UND “SMIRNOVS AUSNAHMEFALL”: Das deutsche Bücherdebut von Alexander Delphinov 14.06 | 20.00 Alexander Delphinov is one of the most important contemporary Russian-speaking poets and one of the co-founders of PANDA platforma. There is only one poem in his first book – it is a prose debut that would not have been possible without the translator and publisher Heinrich Siemens (Tweeback Verlag in Bonn). The stories from his horror Neighborhood of the Hidden River will be read. The second book consists only of poems, translated by Irina Bondas, Alexandra Berlina, and Georg Witte, and published by hochroth Berlin. Delphinov will also perform some of his lyrical texts on stage. In the end, we hope to discuss modern literature and translingual culture. In German language.
