We may find distractions and stimulation that help numb and distract us for a while. But that feeling is still there. We must stop running from ourselves and face what we’ve been neglecting. And then as all things do, it will pass. It will lose its grip on you. And you will be able to breathe. Be kind and patient with yourself on this healing journey.

🐞 🟠Look for the little things. The small details. The barely noticeable notes that fill your day, and are so easy to ignore or miss. Look for the tiny pieces of kindness, the ray of sunshine in that one corner of the office, or the way a certain word can sound in just the right context. We are all so caught up in big things, that don't matter. Maybe it's time to get caught up in the little things, too.
