On Tuesday, Chicago police arrested University of Illinois Chicago senior Merlin LU for the June 9 cross-burning in Grant Park.
Of course, this is a left-wing extremist, was trying to frame MAGA supporters for a hate crime - by doing a hate crime himself.
One could argue that this is like the SPLC crimes.
Left-wing radicals causing terrorist activities to make it appear that people who support Trump are the extremists.
We live in crazy times.

The Natural Healing Handbook β Lost Remedies We Used to Know
For generations, families relied on simple plants and herbs to ease pain, calm the mind, support the heart, and restore balance. This wasnβt alternative medicine β it was the knowledge everyone kept in the kitchen, passed down from one set of hands to the next. This handbook organizes that ancestral wisdom into clear, usable steps again.
From sleep and stress to digestion and joint support, each page shows what the herb does, how to prepare it, and why it works. No guesswork. No trendy miracle claims. Just time-tested remedies brought back into modern life for anyone who wants to become more self-reliant.

The Ebola Story You're Getting Is True. It's Also Built to Be Forgotten.
There is an Ebola outbreak in eastern Congo. People are dying. The official account is accurate and incomplete, and the missing parts are the ones that explain everything.

It applies the Austrian school β Mises, Hayek, Rothbard, Hazlitt, Higgs β to the pandemic record.
The Cantillon effect on the 2020 wealth transfer. The knowledge problem on one-size-fits-all mandates. The ratchet effect on emergency powers that never receded.
Not a polemic. A framework that was published decades before the events it describes. About 5,000 words, fully cited.

In 1944, an economist described why bureaucracies grow regardless of whether they work. In 1945, another explained why central planners fail when knowledge is dispersed. In 1987, a third showed why emergency powers never fully recede.
None of them lived to see 2020. All of them predicted it.

Here is today's essay. At update to my first book "Lies My Government Told Me, and The Better Future Coming."
Lies My Government Told Me: Updated
What time has revealed about the COVID era, and why the silencing of dissent was the most consequential failure of all

There has been a lot of water under the bridge since then, but looking back, I think that we can all clearly see and agree on the overall underpinning lie that lead to all of the others.

Trust is the one thing a public-health system cannot manufacture in the middle of a crisis. It can only spend the trust it has already earned.
And the fastest way to burn through that trust is to project absolute confidence, silence critics, get caught being wrong, and then issue the correction in a whisper months later or never at al.
Do that often enough, and eventually they will create exactly what we have now: a country that instinctively distrusts official certainty, even in moments when the authorities may finally be telling the truth.
That may prove to be the most damaging legacy of the entire pandemic era.

Conservatives are done with βnorms.β They watched Democrats spend years bulldozing every institutional tradition in sight like drunken contractors driving a rented excavator, while Republicans stood nearby holding a laminated copy of Robertβs Rules of Order.
Every time conservatives demand action, a Senate Republican emerges from a mahogany-paneled office whispering about the filibuster like itβs the Shroud of Turin.
βOh dear,β they sigh, clutching pearls and Senate procedure manuals, βwe simply cannot deport illegal immigrants because subsection B, paragraph 4 of Senate precedent from 1978 may be offended.β

George Washington, Father of the Country, Killed by Doctors.
Consensus-driven medicine of the time included bloodletting.
"The facts: Washington came down with a throat infection. Three doctors, all convinced of the settled wisdom of the healing arts deployed since the Middle Ages, participated in draining blood from his body, to the point that they took 5 pints or fully half his blood, while giving him an enema on top of it all."

"The official story surrounding the Andes hantavirus cruise ship outbreak keeps shifting, but one detail should make any rational person stop and think.
Authorities quarantined healthy passengers for weeks aboard a confined expedition vessel while, at the same time, at least one corpse remained on the ship for nearly two weeks.
Think about that for a moment..."

βIf you don't find a way to make money while you sleep, you will work until you die.β β Warren Buffett
In a world filled with wars, uncertainty, and the fragility of the financial system, an individual's only safety net is their own capital. The time has come to take control into your own hands.
Iβm Richard Shapiro, after 20 years in Goldman Sachs I stand at the forefront of a technological revolution - where innovation creates freedom for those bold enough to seize it. π¦

"The Absurdity of Public Health
Serving power, not the public"

The United States has:
β’ 683,000+ heart disease deaths/year
β’ 620,000+ cancer deaths/year
β’ 250,000+ estimated deaths from medical error
Yet public health officials are running national fear campaigns about backyard chickens, raw milk, pet turtles, and hantavirus.
That is not rational public health prioritization.
That is theater.
