۲۹ آذرماه ۱۳۳۸، باشکوه ترین شب چله قرن؛ تهران، کاخ مرمر، مراسم جشن عقد اعلیحضرت همایون محمدرضا شاه پهلوی، شاهنشاه ایران و دوشیزه فرح دیبا.
لباس عروس شهبانوی ایران توسط خانه مد کریستین دیور طراحی و دوخته شد؛ در آن زمان ایو سن لوران (Yves Saint Laurent) که برای دیور کار میکرد، نقش اصلی در طراحی این لباس باشکوه را داشت. 
این لباس یکی از طراحیهای مشهور مزون دیور بود و ترکیبی از ابریشم با تزیینات سنگدوزی، مروارید و نقوش سنتی ایرانی داشت که به نمادی از شکوه و جلال سلطنتی تبدیل شد.
در کارت دعوت برای میهمان ها، تیپ رسمی و برای بانوان لباس بلند با دستکش های سفید قید شده بود.

Between 1944 and 1945, as France was liberated from germany occupation, a wave of public reprisals swept through the country. More than 20,000 French women were accused of “horizontal collaboration”—having relationships with German soldiers—and were punished through public head-shaving, forced parades, and mob humiliation. Many of these accusations were based on rumor, convenience, or local vendettas rather than proven collaboration, making the events a complex and troubling chapter in post-war justice. Historians later called this phenomenon "épuration sauvage"—the wild purge—as communities sought symbolic retribution for years of occupation and national trauma.

In 2018, the Imperial War Museum released a recreation of the final minute of World War I, marking the moment the guns fell silent on November 11, 1918, at 11:00 a.m.
The sound was reconstructed from “sound-ranging” data recorded by Allied soldiers on the Western Front near the Moselle River. These instruments captured vibrations from artillery fire on photographic film, allowing researchers to recreate the moment the fighting stopped.
While not an actual audio recording, the project accurately represents the sudden transition from intense gunfire to complete silence, offering a powerful historical insight into the final moments of the Great War.
