Except he's not alone. He is surrounded by other Kens, all of which have the same sole goal: get Barbie's attention. Like crabs in a bucket the Kens are constantly pulling each other in an effort to impress her. All familiar scene, innit, Kens? (4)

Ken is a doll, designed to vie for Barbie's love and affection, for eternity. An all too modern bugman in a gynocentric world. Gerwig thought she was making incisive social commentary by creating a Barbieland where men have no social work and get tired of that when this is just the world we actually live in. (3)

Ken is you. An exaggerated modern man who lives in today's world. Anxious, confused, chasing women who don't care about him. He exits the faux of a world he is in and discovers his own Will To Power. And like you, he decides to bring his recent enlightenment back to his fellow men. (2)

I watched Barbie. It was two-hour of nonsense and everything I stand against, but I loved Ken. Ken is the essence of that movie. Ken is everything. Ken is me. His revolt against the Barbieland is the only interesting part of that movie. (1)

Look at the stars Look how they shine for you And everything you do Yeah, they were all yellow I came along I wrote a song for you And all the things you do And, it was called Yellow Your skin oh, yeah, your skin and bones Turn into something beautiful And you know You know I love you so.

On today's episode of observations and realization: Relationships among online personas are an unnatural union doomed to failure. Only one spouse can be terminally online, the other shouldn't even have an email account.

> be Linus Torvalds > grow up in Finland, realize there's more to life than saunas and reindeer > stumble upon UNIX, fall in love but broke as a joke > say "screw it" and decide to make your own Kernel > announce Linux on some obscure mailing list, who reads those anyway? > surprise, a few enlightened souls do > they start contributing, but not without Linus' "quality control" > you don't like GPL? tough luck, kiddo, Linus loves it > Windows is for normies who can't handle a terminal > macOS is for those too artsy to understand a real OS > Linux begins to take over servers, because it doesn't suck > you're not using Linux? you must be one of those NPCs > only true 200IQ programmers dare contribute to the Kernel > Richard Stallman? yeah, he's cool, but it's LINUX, not GNU/Linux > Linus gets mad at bad code, rants in mailing lists, becomes legendary > he doesn't have time for your lackluster contributions > GitHub? More like TrashHub for mediocre devs > continues to insult anyone who writes crappy code, because life's too short > takes a break to think about being nice, realizes it's overrated > comes back, Linux still king, open source still the only way > if you're not running Linux, what are you even doing with your life? > Linus Torvalds, the rude genius who gave us Linux, keeps mic-dropping > Windows users still confused, Linux users still enlightened > end of story, go install Linux or remain a normie forever

[10 of my kids arranged themselves in a circle, ranging in age from 16 to 4. In my embrace was our 18-month-old bundle of less night sleep, while their amazing mother gracefully adjusted her seat next to us, a multitasking ninja even at 7 months pregnant] Well, believe it or not, kids, the tale of How I Met Your Mother begins with a riveting scene straight out of a quirky rom com. Picture this: Pops was grinding away like a compiler, juggling more syntaxes than an octa core processor could. Meanwhile, your future mother, who was clearly a maestro of multitasking, decided to dazzle the library crowd with some next-level foot choreography. Yes, you heard me right – foot choreography, a talent that will surely be passed down for generations. And in the middle of my argument with CLOSUREs and GOTOs, there I was, oblivious to the foot ballet happening nearby. Then all of a sudden, pops's eyes become like ocular wanderlusts. It's like your eyes have caught a case of the travel bug, and they just can't resist exploring every nook and cranny of their visual surroundings. Little did I know, your future mother had her sights set on me, the unsuspecting hero of this tale. Armed with a camera and an eye for true eagle-eyed noob (or maybe just a knack for capturing hilariously awkward moments), she immortalized the dance of my eyes for all eternity. So, kids, that's how the stars aligned, the universe chuckled, and two utterly mismatched souls found themselves on the path to a legendary love story. And that, miniature mes, is how I met your feet-tapping mother.

Life surprises: my How I Met Your Mother story took a toe-tally unexpected turn. Telegrams, sure. Shit-posting on and off the

They didn't hang Progozhin, but blew him off to hell.

So, after 7 years of successful streak, I have went to the picture house. I got "scammed", there I said it. Smile now. But aside from the part where I paid for the "golden experience", the overall experience was enormous. Granted I have wasted 3 days of lunch money for "a more comfortable chair", and "leg rooms", but the movie was splendid. I liked every minute of it. I'm trying so hard not to sound like a Habeshan dad who overpaid for his coat and wear it everywhere cause of the expense than the comfort, that's why I didn't wrote this after the movie ended, but still got that feeling a little bit. About the movie, the only spoil I make is his wife is everything a man looks in a woman. As he said, "Kitty and I are grown ups. We walked through fire together. She'll do fine." The real spoiler will come when I watch it tomorrow again.

It's Oppenheimer's night. Going to the movies after 7 full years. Wish me luck!

Tiktok observation: If you seriously looked at some posts on Tiktok, you can see that people do little tasks while filming themselves so as to look casual/busy to earn social points. Refraining the notion, "look, I don't actually care that much about this video because I'm actually busy with other stuff." People these days have that approach with everything, friendship, companionship, colleague and work relations, you name it. ስንተዋወቅ አንተላለቅ እንጅ ጃል. Of course we know the goal of it is to let the thought reside in the sublime because you pass it as casual, and it really ain't working. Seeming casual is not as casual as you think it is. It is just disgusting.

If you have some followers, there's at least one person obsessively refreshing your profile thinking your posts are coded messages to them. Despite being completely obsessed with you they've deluded themselves into thinking it's the reverse. You have no idea who they are. You've been here before. Of course, you know the drill, right?
