Dear NIE Students and Staff, The AI in Education Chapter, NIE, is proud to announce our last workshop for Semester 2 AY2022/23, ChatGPT: Wonders and Worries, which will be happening on 23rd May 2023, Tuesday. Never fear, ChatGPT is here! With a new development in the AI scene, it does present solutions for educators to make their lives easier when it comes to information collection and research. However, with its limitations, it also presents a new set of problems that teachers have to deal with. Joining us as our guest speaker in this event, Dr Wong Lung Hsiang from OER will be sharing on the capabilities and limitations of ChatGPT as well as how teachers can use it across various contexts. Invitation to participate in T&L Spaces Research Study   Hi Students!   We are planning to transform our Teaching & Learning (T&L) spaces and is conducting a research project titled “Transformation of Teaching and Learning Spaces.”   The purpose of this research is to find our students’ perceptions of the current teaching and learning spaces at NIE, and the improvements/changes they like to see. This research study is a mixed method that involves three types of data collection – (i) Survey, (ii) Campus Walk, and (iii) Focus Group Discussion.
