Dear NIE Student Teachers, Teachers’ Day is here! 🥳️️️️️️🤩 As part of our Teachers’ Day Celebrations 2023, the 32nd NIE Student Teachers’ Club (NSTC) will be having our 🌻Teachers’ Day Flower Sale 🌻 from 29th August - 31 August 2023! For our sale, we will be selling a variety of flowers such as Gerberas, Sunflowers and Carnations 💐so do get them for your professors and even your friends!!  NSTC will be partnering with the NIE Service and Leadership Training (SALT) Programme to raise funds for their Service Learning project.  All profits from our sale will go to NIE SALT 2023. CALL FOR NOMINATIONS 📢 NSTC will be recruiting their 33rd NSTC Management Committee! We hope to elect a new batch of dedicated and committed students who are passionate to serve the NIE community! Interested parties must sign up through this link or by scanning the QR code above. The form to express your interest in self-nominating will close on 25th of August, 2359 hrs. The returning officer, Tristan Sim, will contact you afterwards. The elections rally for the 33rd NSTC Management Committee will happen on the 4th of September, from 6.30pm-10pm. Any ordinary member of NSTC will be able to attend the rally by signing up through this link or the QR code above. Do show your support to your peers as they share their vision on what they would like to achieve during their term! So how will the run work? Participants will be credited an extra lucky draw ticket for every two rounds covered around the NIE triangle, giving them a chance to win attractive prizes 🤩! Participants will be able to stop, rest and continue running as long as it is within the run portion of this event, which is from 5.00 - 7.00pm. Swipe to see where you will be running 🏃! When you are ready to clock ⏰ your distance and redeem your lucky draw chances, do approach the NSTC member on duty with the app that you have used to track your distance, some examples of apps which you can use are Strava and NikeRun. An example of how the app interface will look like is shown above. The participant with the longest distance covered will win an attractive prize!! 🥳 Participants will be able to gain an additional lucky draw opportunity by completing the 4 carnival games in the Student Hub. Dear NIE Students and Staff, The NIE Student Teachers’ Club (NSTC) Management Committee is proud to announce the NIE Charity Run: NIE Gives Back! 🏃🏃💨 We are delighted to invite you to participate in this event which is aimed at creating a positive impact for our own NTU-NIE students. This exciting event will be held on 24 August 2023 in NIE, and we will be honored to have you join us! The NIE Charity Run is a unique opportunity for the entire NIE Community to come together and make a difference through their participation. By taking part in this event, you will not only contribute to a worthy cause but also enjoy an afternoon filled with fun activities and camaraderie. Some exciting things to look forward to: from Carnival Games to Merchandise Sale! There’s something for everyone! 🥳🥳 Whether you are an experienced runner or a beginner, this event is for everyone. Feel free to run or walk, participate individually or invite your friends or colleagues along to amplify the impact of your contributions.
