The Carnal Person
Some or all of the following traits may characterize the Christian who does not fully trust God:

Why is it that most Christians are not experiencing the abundant life?
Carnal Christians cannot experience the Abundant and Fruitful Christian Life
The carnal man trusts in his own efforts to live the Christian life:
1. He is either uninformed about, or has forgotten, God’s love, forgiveness, and power (Romans 5:8-10; Hebrews 10:1-25; 1 John 1; 2:1-3; 2 Peter 1:9; Acts 1:8).

3. He has an up-and-down spiritual experience.

5. He cannot understand himself – he wants to do what is right, but cannot.

7. He fails to draw upon the power of the Holy Spirit to live the Christian life. (1 Corinthians 3:1-3; Romans 7:15-24; 8:7; Galatians 5:16-18)

² በላይ ያለውን አስቡ እንጂ በምድር ያለውን አይደለም።
³ ሞታችኋልና፥ ሕይወታችሁም በእግዚአብሔር ከክርስቶስ ጋር ተሰውሮአልና፤
ሰው ከሀዘን እና ጭንቀት ነፃ የሆነ ኑሮ ለመምራት ከእግዚአብሔር ምክር እና ሀሳብ ጋር ተጣብቆ መኖር አለበት ።
❇️( ሰለ ሕይወት ያለን አመለካከት )
ሕይወትን ከእግዚአብሔር ሀሳብ ወይም ከመጀመሪያው ከነበረው እውነት መረዳት ከቻልን ሀዘን በእኛ ላይ ስፍራ እና ቦታ ሊኖረው አይችልም። ሁላችንም ብንፈተሽ እያዘንን እየተጨነቅን ያለነው ኑሮ ሰለሚባለው ነገር ነው እንጂ ሌላ ነገር አይደለም ስለ ልጆች ፣ ስለ ትዳር ፣ ስለ ጤንነት ፣ ስለ ገንዘብ ፣ ወይም ነገ መኖር ስለምንፈልገው ኑሮ ዛሬ ላይ ተጨንቀን የምንኖር ስንቶች ነን ይህ ሀሳብ ነው እንግዲህ ሀዘን በልባችን እንዲፈጠር የሚያደርገው። ነገር ግን ስለእነዚህ ነገሮች እግዚአብሔር እንደሚያስብ ብናስብ ሀዘን ሳይሆን የደስታችን ምክንያቶች ይሆኑ ነበር። ሀዘን በዓለም ስላለ ብቻ ወደ እኛ ይመጣል ማለት አይደለም ። እኛ ሕይወት ውስጥ ስፍራ እንዲኖረው የሚያደርገው የዚያ የሀዘን ምንጭ የዓለም አስተሳሰብ በእኛ ሕይወት ስፍራ ሲየገኝ ነው።
✅ ጌታ ኢየሱስ ክርስቶስ ሃዘንና ችግር በግሉም፣ በአካባቢውም፣ በኑሮውም ወይም በሚያሰፈልገው ነገሮች ሁሉ የሃዘን ምንጭ የሆኑት ነገሮች በዙሪያው ይመለከት ነበር፡፡ ቢሆንም ግን ለአንዳችም ቅጽበት ቢሆን እንኳን አስተናግዶ አያውቅም ነበር፡፡ አዝኖ የማያውቀው ደግሞ ሃዘን ወደሌለበት ዓለም ስለመጣ አይደለም፡፡ እንዲያውም በጣም ብዙ የሚያሳዝኑ ነገሮች የሞሉበት፣ በግሉም ቢሆን ሊያሳዝነው የሚችል ነገር እየደረሰበት፣ እየነገሩትና እየሰማ ሳያዝን ኖሯል፡፡ ጌታ ኢየሱስ የማይጨነቀው ከላይ በሆነ እውነተኛ ሕይወት ይኖር ስለነበር ነው ለእኛም ይዞልን የመጣው ይህንን ሕይወት ነው ለዚህም ነው ሕይወት እንዲሆንላችሁ መጣው ያለን (ዮሐ 10:10) ሰላሜን እሰጣችኋለው ካለ የሚሰጠን የሚኖርበትን ከላይ ይዞት የመጣውን ሰላም ነው ማለት ነው፡፡ መኮረጅም ካለብን ስለ ሕይወት መኮረጅ ያለብን ከኢየሱስ ነወ። ጌታም የሚፈልገው ይህን ነገር በተገቢው መንገድ ተረድተን እንኖርበት ዘንድ ነው፡፡
“በክርስቶስ ኢየሱስ የነበረ ይህ አሳብ በእናንተ ዘንድ ደግሞ ይሁን።”

1ኛ ጴጥሮስ 5
10፤ በክርስቶስ ኢየሱስ ወደ ዘላለም ክብሩ የጠራችሁ የጸጋ ሁሉ አምላክ ለጥቂት ጊዜ መከራን ከተቀበላችሁ በኋላ ራሱ ፍጹማን ያደርጋችኋል ያጸናችሁምል ያበረታችሁማል።

The degree to which these traits are manifested in the life depends upon the extent to which the Christian trusts the Lord with every detail of his life, and upon his maturity in Christ. One who is only beginning to understand the ministry of the Holy Spirit should not be discouraged if he is not as fruitful as more mature Christians who have known and experienced this truth for a longer period.
The Spiritual Person
Some spiritual traits which result from trusting God:
TRAITS
“This is the message I want to give you today. You have brought your children today so that they have within the Holy Spirit. The child comes out of Baptism with the strength of the Spirit within: the Spirit that will defend him, help him throughout his life. This is why it’s so important to baptize children, so that they grow with the strength of the Holy Spirit. And take care that they grow with the light, with the strength of the Holy Spirit, through catechesis, help, teaching, the examples you will give at home. This is the message.”
He told the parents if their child begins to cry just make them comfortable, nursing them in the Sistine if they have to.
“If your child cries and complains, perhaps it’s because he feels too hot: take something off of him, or because he’s hungry: nurse him, here, yes, always in peace.”Pope Francis said “children are choral” and “one will begin to cry, then another,” but “don’t get upset” because “when a child cries in church, it’s a beautiful homily, a beautiful homily.”
Pope Francis also told the parents present to not forget that they “bear the Holy Spirit within the children” and left them with a final word.
After baptizing babies in the Sistine Chapel on the Feast of Baptism of Our Lord, Pope Francis said crying children in Church are a “beautiful homily.”
Pope Francis said he wanted to keep his off-the-cuff homily brief, joking that “babies are not used to coming to the Sistine Chapel.”
“They aren’t used to be shut-in in an environment that is also a bit warm. And they aren’t used to be dressed like this, for a feast as beautiful as today’s. They will feel a bit uncomfortable at a certain moment.”
