Harakiri is a special kind of suicide that was done by Japanese samurai. It still exists, of course. In this song, Sarge uses this term as a metaphor for what humanity brings to itself and other creatures. The choices and actions that we do today cause the destruction of all creatures and the entire civilization. We humans are basically doing a kind of contradictory hara-kiri, which is even contradictory to what the Japanese were doing. But it is suicide. That is the suicide with which we destroy others!
