BTC.D is currently around 59.35%, and this is the first meaningful sign that Bitcoin could be starting to lose some of its strength relative to the rest of the crypto market.
If Bitcoin dominance continues falling towards 58.8% while ETH and altcoins start outperforming BTC, that would be a much stronger signal that capital is rotating into the broader market.
But falling dominance alone doesn’t mean altseason.
We need to see the money actually move.

📜 Clarity Act: What We Know So Far💰
The bill aims to clearly define the roles of the SEC and CFTC, while establishing a regulatory framework for banks, exchanges, and digital asset managers.
1. Time is running out.
The Senate begins its summer recess on August 10, making early August the practical deadline for a vote.
2. The bill is not currently on the Senate schedule.
For now, priority has been given to other legislation.
3. The bill needs 60 votes to pass.
Even with support from most Republicans, lawmakers will still need at least 8 Democratic votes.
4. Support remains limited.
Only two Democrats backed the bill in the Senate Banking Committee, and neither has committed to supporting the final version.
The main points of contention include stablecoin yields, DeFi regulation, AML requirements, and restrictions on government officials (including the President) profiting from cryptocurrencies.
🔻 According to JPMorgan, the probability of the bill passing before the end of 2026 has fallen to 37%.

🚨 A Sign We're Nearing the End of the Bear Market
It's crazy how many familiar names are on the list of crypto projects and altcoins that have shut down in 2026. 😳
You can also add Movement, and likely Zilliqa and Storj to that list. (Storj announced today that it has filed for bankruptcy.)
This is actually a very positive signal.
Not only is the market going through a healthy cleanup, but it also shows that many participants are finally capitulating. Historically, that's one of the classic signs that a cycle bottom is getting close.
