Too much detail!
When you're trying to show how passionate, qualified, and unique you are, it makes sense to list everything:
classes
clubs
projects
research
achievements
But that’s exactly how your story gets lost.
Too much detail overwhelms the reader and hides the one thing that actually matters: why going to university is important to you.
Before adding anything to your essay, ask yourself:
Does this help explain why university education matters to me?
If not, delete it!
