🎄How to Have a Merry Christmas 🎄 The West has long had winter holidays. Yet the meaning keeps changing. References to paganism have died out. So has the Roman Catholic festival that Puritans condemned. Over the years, it became a celebration of Victorianism and vaguely Unitarian sanctimony before developing into what exists now: a time to gather with family and open presents. Today's Yuletide celebration is as religious as Black Friday. We are surrounded by examples of this everywhere and they don't offend. Only twice do leftover pieties become an issue. One is when bad actors try to kill off the name Christmas as a secularist victory lap. The other is when someone complains that others don't see Christ in the day. Yet the unavoidable secularity shouldn't be controversial. It helps remind the Church not to bind the Christian conscience to what God never commanded. That said, when Christmas is not treated as a day of worship, you are free to make memories with loved ones amid the red and green. Note carefully that the issue is not whether Christmas is pagan. Winter holidays exist deep in the heart of Western civilization, across religious lines. They exist in the realm of nature and common, not special, grace. Put another way, enjoy the day! Don't feel guilty because the fun isn't spiritual. Feel free to spend time with your family without dragging everyone to church. 🎅🏻 @Presbyterianism

Kinism: The Good Samaritan Some claim the parable of the Good Samaritan (Lk. 10:25-37) dismisses ethnic distinctions in our provision. However, this is a misreading. We wouldn’t say the parable undermines the importance of the household in provision, so neither should it negate the significance of the nation. The parable simply illustrates the need for compassion in extraordinary situations. It does not overturn ordinary duties to one’s kin, but rather calls for kindness to those in immediate need. @Kinism

After the plot was foiled, the 5th of November became a night of bonfires and fireworks, symbolising the triumph of the British way of life. Kinism: Meaningful Activism You can attend as many protests as you like, put up countless stickers and posters, and spend all your time at the gym. But if you're not having children, all those efforts will be in vain. A folk cannot sustain itself without the next generation. Raising children is one of the most impactful ways to ensure your values endure and grow. The diagram above illustrates this point. He served as Archbishop of Constantinople and is recognised as a prolific writer in the early Church. His Homily on Romans clearly affirms the kinist position that our ethno-nation holds a distinct relationship to us, compared to all humanity, and should therefore be afforded a unique love and priority. Kinism: Reformed Ethnocentrism In recognising that each of us belongs to an ethno-nation, we acknowledge that we have a God-ordained, unique kinship relation (Romans 9:3) to members of our ethnic group. Those in kinship relation are to be prioritised, as stated in 1 Timothy 5:8. Therefore, the abandonment or disregard of our duties owed to our kinship/ethnic relations is sinful.
