REMINDER! No outside drinks are permitted at the Legion! (water ok)
For many years, the Roxboro Legion has welcomed us as friends, facilitating our holding of some of our community events, such as our New Year’s Party. In 2022, this party did not happen as the Legion’s building was burned down.
To this day, the Legion members and volunteers continue to feel the fire’s impacts; part of the building is still unusable, the basement is still under reconstruction, which is due in no small part to a lack of funds following the fire, two years of pandemic, and aging members.
To show our support and gratitude towards the Legion, which gave us so much, we have planned the Big Spawghetti Fundraiser!
We hope to raise funds to give a little bit back to the Roxboro Legion for everything they did for us in the last few years, all the while having a great time together as a community!
Our local sauce creator, Feli from Dark Bunny Sauces, has generously offered to make the spaghetti sauce, and many others have donated goods for a charity auction in order to gather more funds.
Additional donations will also be welcomed, with all proceeds being given to the Roxboro Legion.
Let’s join forces and do good!

RAPPEL! Les breuvages de l’extérieur ne sont pas admis à la Légion (eau ok)
Depuis plusieurs années, la Légion Canadienne de Roxboro nous a accueillis à bras ouverts avec amitié, facilitant la tenue d’évènements pour notre communauté, tel que notre fête du Nouvel An. En 2022, cette fête n’a pas eu lieu car le local de la Légion avait été la proie des flames.
À ce jour, les membres et les bénévoles de la Légion continuent de ressentir les impacts de cet incendie ; une partie de l’édifice reste toujours inutilisable, le sous-sol demeure en reconstruction, et ce dû à un manque de fonds résultant de cet incendie, deux années de pandémie, et des membres vieillissants.
Pour démontrer notre soutien et notre appréciation à la Légion, qui nous a tant donné, nous avons planifié une Grande Levée De Fonds Spawghetti !
Nous espérons amasser des fonds afin de redonner à la Légion de Roxboro un peu de ce qu’ils ont fait pour nous pendant ces dernières années, tout en ayant du bon temps entre membres de notre communauté !
Notre créateur de sauces local, Feli des Sauces Dark Bunny, a généreusement offert de faire une sauce à spaghetti, et plusieurs autres de nos membres ont acceptés de donner des items que nous allons mettre à l’encan afin d’amasser encore plus de fonds.
Les dons additionnels seront aussi les bienvenus, et tout l’argent amassé sera remis à la Légion de Roxboro.

CHANGES: The option of paying and having someone else making your share of the potluck is not available anymore. People have been abusing this option and it is not fair for others making food. It is not that hard to cook something for 10 persons. There's a list of suggestions on the side or you can always ask the organizator.
You can now pay in advance using this Ko-fi link . (Don't forget to put your real name in.) Or at the door. Reminder it is 20$. We will be ID'ing everybody. No exception.

Mais cest 50/50… la décision est la suivante: Venez mais sachez que le furmeet pourrais être annulé ou raccourci si la pluie commence à être tros intense. 1. La visite d'après-midi est préférable pour les fursuits, il y aura moins d'achalandage et plus d'éclairage ☀️
2. Les billets des Jardins de lumière sont aussi valides en après-midi pour le Jardin botanique ✔️
3. Suivez le groupe en file durant le trajet pour la sécurité de tous, le trajet n'est pas toujours bien éclairé 🌙
4. Les fullsuits ne sont pas recommandés le soir, optez pour un partiel et retirez votre tête lors de vos déplacements ou ayez un assistant (handler) avec vous en tout temps 👋
5. Il y aura des endroits achalandés, soyez respectueux avec les autres visiteurs qui s'y recueillent et suivez le groupe pour ne pas les déranger ❤️
