🔹 ZETRIX (0138) – Revives plan to acquire a 50% stake in Philippines-based IT services provider MYEG Ventures Inc for RM130 million. About 78% of the acquisition will be funded through new Zetrix shares, with the balance RM29 million from internal cash.
🔹 ZETRIX (0138) – Founder and major shareholder Wong Thean Soon and Asia Internet Holdings disposed of 960.7 million shares, equivalent to a 12.193% stake, for RM227.99 million. His total stake has fallen to 17.129%.
🔹 MN HOLDINGS (0245) – Secured a RM67.32 million contract from TNB for the installation of a 275kV underground cable to supply bulk power to Intel Penang. Completion is expected within 540 days.
🔹 NEXG BINA (0166) – Mutually terminated the proposed RM34.1 million sale of a 49% stake in its lingerie units Classita and Marywah Industries, citing a lack of material progress.
🔹 GAS MALAYSIA (5209) – Working with PETRONAS Gas on a feasibility study for a pipeline connecting the proposed Yan LNG regasification terminal to the Peninsular Gas Utilisation system.
🔹 CENGILD (7241) – Plans to place up to 16.66 million new shares, or 2% of its issued share capital, to contractual specialist medical practitioners. The placement could raise about RM2.87 million.
🔹 BATU KAWAN (1899) – Independent advisers have given contrasting recommendations on its takeover offers for MKH and MKH Oil Palm. MKH shareholders were advised to accept the RM2 offer, while MKHOP shareholders were advised to reject the 66.26 sen offer.

NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang recently said “AGI has arrived” following the launch of OpenAI’s latest flagship model, Astra.
What caught my attention is the scale of computing power involved. Astra was reportedly trained using more than 100,000 NVIDIA GPUs, and Jensen Huang said another 400,000 GPUs are coming online. 😮
💡 Why is this interesting?
As AI models become more powerful, the amount of computing power and GPUs required continues to grow rapidly.
This gives us an idea of just how big the AI infrastructure and computing demand could become in the coming years.
⚠️ Of course, the statement that “AGI has arrived” remains debatable, as there is still no universally agreed definition of AGI.
