While there were no female officers in the pre-war Japanese Military, there were women who wore military uniforms. Princess Masako and Princess Fusako, daughters of Emperor Meiji, wore military uniforms. (Although they were exceptional cases)

In 1960, a gigantic, hand-painted billboard for the Toho war Tokusatsu film "Hawaii-Midway Battle of the Sea and Sky: Storm in the Pacific Ocean" was displayed at the Nippon Gekijo. The Nippon Gekijo closed in 1981, and the Yurakucho Center Building (now Yurakucho Marion) was built on the site.

Katsuyoshi Mikami born in Aomori Prefecture in 1917. In 1934, he joined the Yokosuka Naval Air Corps as a fourth-class seaman. In July 1937, after graduating from the 37th class of pilot trainees selected from within the corps, he became a fighter pilot and participated in the South China Operation as a member of the 14th Air Group. Afterwards, he was involved in the practical testing of the Type 12 Carrier Fighter (later known as the Zero Fighter) at the Yokosuka Naval Air Group. In August 1940, he was transferred to the 12th Air Group, based in Hankou. On September 13, he participated in the Zero Fighter's debut aerial battle over Chongqing. He continued to sortie until August 1941, but contracted pulmonary tuberculosis and retired from the Navy at the end of that year. After the war, he ran a textbook sales company in Iwate Prefecture and contributed to the development of school education.

On July 2, 2026, one Zero fighter pilot passed away. Katsuyoshi Mikami, age 109.🫡 Mikami was the last surviving Zero fighter pilot from the approximately 1,000 pilots who existed 30 years ago. Of those 1,000, only four lived to be over 100 years old.

On June 10, 1938, Japanese Army Lieutenant Tateishi holds a wounded military pigeon that had fulfilled its mission.

Headquarters for the Rescue of Otoya Yamaguchi (13 organizations including the Association for the Establishment of Public Order, the Against-Communist Volunteer Corps, the Great Japan Independent Youth Party, and the Great Japan Patriotic Party) "- Asanuma fell with the blade of divine retribution. Mr. Yamaguchi's actions are those of a true patriot. - The media is calling it right-wing violence and ganging up on the gentle Mr. Yamaguchi. Mr. Yamaguchi did a magnificent thing. When God and man unite, and one reaches the realm of divine-human unity, the “will and integrity” will surely be realized. The righteous act of the divine punishment that struck down Inejirō Asanuma is the embodiment of this truth in its purest form. Furthermore, although Chairman Asanuma's family may be financially stable, their love for him remains unchanged, and their lives are filled with sadness and trouble due to his murder.
