Hello everyone, Important learnings from mains 2026 ,After all the Mains paper conducted recently, one thing is clear again & again that UPSC gives hints about the Questions on which UPSC will focus upon more, In 2025 Prelims UPSC asked Question on Indus valley & Chola Dynasty Same topic repeated In Mains 2025 . In 2026 Prelims Question was asked on Disabilities Act,CBDC, Financial Inclusion index, Agentic AI and Same topics Have been repeated in Mains. This means PYQs are the single most important thing for UPSC. If you See the 10 August 2026 Current affairs notes in it's importance message I have written that Energy security is important even that topic is asked in this years Mains however the main message was below it where I have written Mangrove is important for this year Mains because it was asked in Prelims 2026 , it was not a prediction , it was to tell you the importance of PYQs , Fir chahe wo Prelims ke ho ya Mains ke . One thing I find very Strange in the coaching industry that after every paper they say UPSC ne paper ka pattern badal dia, & Immideatly they start selling their courses as best in the market, Howcome the course which is every time not on the Same Pattern As UPSC can be best? But we can't do much about it as it's a shock value that attracts aspirant . But I feel it's your job to understand this Pattern and have the thorough understanding about the exam. That's why I keep telling you the importance of every topic, like before Prelims I repeatedly keep saying that Nuclear prograam is important as kalpakkama plant has achieved the criticality and covered it in Current affairs notes but it was not asked in Prelims , but guess what it is asked Mains this year. All that Integration of topics thing does not come in 1-2 months ,as I have seen many start reading PYQs 1-2 month before exam, it is not going to be of much help, it takes daily efforts to read topic and integrate with PYQs and know their relevance for exam , that's why you get daily topics importence message for current affairs and it's your Resposibility to use this Strategy in all sphere of your prep. "we are taking care of this for your current affairs part, rest is on you so do it definitely. " For new members Click here to check about current affairs initiative.

Had written this a while ago, fits apt today.

Can you blindly make some tukka in CSAT questions? How many questions to attempt! Since it is generally the case that none of the csat questions get deleted, it is always advisable to attempt questions in table of 4. This is for those people jo border pe rehte CSAT me. There is a mathematical rationale for this argument. If you are passing with 4n-3 questions, then even 3 more negatives will not harm. In simple words- Try to Attempt total number of questions which are 4’s table (check above image) If you have marked 41, then blindly mark 3 more to make it 44, you won’t fail because of this three guesses!

🚨 DAY 3 : 30 DAYS ETHICS ENRICHMENT SERIES 📚 Topic: TARES TEST FOR ETHICAL PERSUASION 📖 Meaning : The TARES test is a five-part ethical persuasion framework that helps establish ethical boundaries and guide persuasive practices. It's based on the Theory of Utilitarianism, which states that the results of an action are equally important to the action itself when evaluating its ethicality. The 5 components are as follows: 1. Trustworthiness : This assesses whether the communicator is reliable and credible. 2. Authenticity : It involves being honest and sincere in communication. 3. Respect: It emphasizes the importance of treating the audience with dignity and valuing their perspectives. 4. Equity : It requires that all individuals have equal access to information and opportunities. 5. Social Responsibility: Ethical persuasion should aim to enhance the common good, promoting social welfare and community development. ✏️ Examples : 1️⃣ IAS Rohit Singh : As a collector, he initiated a "Clean Village" campaign. Instead of just mandating cleanliness, he engaged with villagers through workshops and interactive sessions 2️⃣ IAS Dr. M. S. S. Raghunathan : He launched a campaign to promote education for girls in rural areas. He organized community meetings, shared success stories of educated women, and worked with local leaders to shift perceptions about girls’ education 💬 Key Quotes : “Seek first to understand, then to be understood.” Stephen R. Covey 👉 PYQs where the topic can be applied : 1️⃣ How could social influence and persuasion contribute to the success of Swatchh Bharat Abhiyan? (2016) 2️⃣ This can be extensively used in Case Studies where you have to persuade people towards any task, like in 2024 Case Study related to Farmers.. Hit ❤️ if you have read the post this far. 📎 Stay Updated : @upscandbeyondd

✅ Day 16: Diagramification of your Mains Answer 🏹Theme: Unemployment - one of the most repeated themes in GS3. And watch the trick this diagram plays: 3.1% sounds like a footnote... until the label converts it into 14.9 crore people (PLFS 2025). A slice that looks tiny, a number that is not. 📌Draw both together and the examiner reads the human scale, not just the stat. And the second graph is the real weapon: female unemployment down from 5.6% (2017) to 3.2% (2025, PLFS). UPSC keeps pairing women empowerment with every GS theme - society in GS1, schemes in GS2, labour force in GS3, essays anyway. One small bar graph and your "women + economy" dimension is ready wherever the question bends. Percentages hide. Absolute numbers reveal. Use both in the same answer. 💡Employment, PLFS, gender data - all diagrammed with sources in the GS3 Booklet, ₹399, on Civil Services Compass app ✉️ Follow us for more such updates

IE article : 7 imperatives to build a viksit agri economy by 2047 Based on the article, I have extracted the following content for you guys!! Suggestions/Way Forward for Agriculture: 1. Develop vernacular Al platforms for smallholder farmers, partner with AgTechs to create affordable Al solutions, and disseminate Al-based advisory services through government program. 2. Regenerative agriculture through structured policies, farmer incentives and R&D on sustainable practices. The focus should be on a national regenerative farming policy and private sector led capital efficient agro-ecology practices. 3. India must develop low-cost robotic solutions tailored for small farms, set up AgTech hubs for testing and deploying automation and promote public-private partnerships to scale robotics innovation. 4. Collaborating with global leaders to improve production, formulation techniques and public awareness on lab-grown proteins. 5. Digital twin technology at-scale to model field trials virtually, reducing costs and speeding up the launch of agri-inputs. 6. Integrate blockchain across multiple agricultural supply chains, ensuring transparency, reducing fraud and improving market access. Export crops should be a focus for India blockchain scale-up to materially improve price realization for farmers. 7. India needs to scale up micro-irrigation technologies, invest in climate-resilient seed varieties and bio-based crop protection products, and leverage Al to develop localised climate advisory systems. Conclusion: To act on these imperatives will require a strategic mix of investments, policy reforms, and grassroots engagement to ensure that smallholder farmers are not left behind in Viksit Bharat.
