3C Paragraph Method for IELTS Writing.
It is a simple structure that helps you develop clear, logical body paragraphs, which is exactly what examiners look for in Task Response and Coherence. Many candidates stay stuck at Band 6–6.5 because their ideas are vague or not properly explained. This method fixes that.
The structure is very simple:
Claim – clearly state the main point of the paragraph.
Clarify – explain the idea with reasoning or an example.
Connect – link the explanation back to the question or the result.
When every paragraph follows this pattern, your essay becomes easier to follow and more convincing, which often pushes scores toward Band 7+.
