Hello everyone i thought i should share my interview transcript as now is the right time ...i didn't share it before because i thought it would get lost in the chat... Chairman (Manoj Soni sir) Some general questions about my state just to calm my nerves ? What are u doing after btech ? Iit madras some general talk on this Meaning of sudhanshu? (It is related to moon) How will you construct a building on moon/ challenges compared to earth? (The answer i gave I believe was one of the deciding factors for a good score) Your hobbies all indoors? He then said don't u like to go out? ( I just accepted my flaws there/ but told them I'm working on this) Favourite football club Player Member 1 (all questions were from my mtech only so you can skip this part if it isn't related to u guys) Project of mtech Project related questions Is 11384 (was working related to this is code) Abaqus modeling (software on which i was working on) Steps involved Meshing Model support conditions and specifications Basis of is 11384 Convergence of your model Member 2 (knew about my state apparently more than me😅) Lakes in j&k? Asked about Artificial lake in j&k ? How is it constructed? River tawi origination? Problems faced in river side structures? Liquefaction prevention?(was impressed with this answer) Dam construction cement and concrete grade? Some questions was related to uplift (couldn't recall) Member 3 (covered a lot of topic ... couldn't answer 2-3 questions of her) What is Gis? What is Qgis? New technologies in civil engineering (do prepare this question well these questions do fetch marks) Prime minister's gift to farmers( i didn't want to name revoked farm laws cause its wasn't my domain so i just named a csir project/policy related to weather prediction that apparently PM had some role in it) What is a Disaster? Any disaster in 2021? 2 Uses of surge tank ? Water hammer? Turbine classification? Reaction and impulse turbine? Software related to pert and cpm? The thing i learnt from my previous attempt was that no matter what happens don't loose confidence. If you don't know politely say sorry sir i will look in to this topic. Note:- He scored the highest in Interview i.e. 152/200, which is quite remarkable!

Feedback- my interview is DAF based. You should prepare yourself for practical based question. They asked me no questions from my favourite subject, which I told them. Chairman and other member are very cordial and never humiliate you if you do not know the answer. Before entering the room, you can be very tense but as you enter the room you feel good. There is no restriction on which your language you answer, I preferred Hindi.

Now, that ESE Interviews are almost over, we all eagerly waiting for the results, please take some time off to write a brief (or comprehensive) Transcript of your interview, stating your experiences and insights. Which will be beneficial for future candidates. Think of the time, you began preparing for the interview, and how clueless you were about the interview, coaching institutes were of little help, in providing the answers. First-hand account of the interview process and experience instils confidence among candidates. Freely available interview transcript gives a better understanding of the flow of the interview. It would be nice if one could find all the information, at one place, It would save time and effort and preparation will be much more directional and effective. Now, It is Your time to Help Share your Transcript in the attached group. Or you can remain Anonymous by filling this google doc https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSeZJ7lf2mfPsMTGd7CDB3FWtglskkQuHLtkD310_XqMqJJ7EQ/viewform?usp=pp_url I would also like to thank all the candidates, who have already shared their transcripts, You can always add to your transcript by tagging the old one and giving the updated information. Thank You!! & All the Best !!! 🙏✌️🖖🙂

Transfer to M1 M1- Tell me about bridge pier and abutments what are these? What kind of forces acted on bridge piers ? What kind of forces on abutments? How pier and abutments is designed? Have you ever seen construction of well foundation at site? Which kind of foundation for pier and abutments is provided? In place of Well foundation what other types of foundation is provided in bridges? How do you know about which kind of piling will be provided? Will always be their Rocky strata below the river bed? In case of sandy strata which kind of pile will you provide? In clay which kind of pile? What do you mean by rest pressure? Does no force act on the wall? What is active and passive pressure ? Give me example of passive pressure? For the given porosity in sand and clay which will have more water holding capacity and why? M2- You have done your M.tech in water resources, What was elective courses in your M.Tech course that you studied? Did you read about climate change or impact of climate change? How climate change is affecting in farming sector? How can we tackle with it? Tell me some specific solutions for the farmers, as climate change effects has been observed from last 2-3 decades In South India there is problem of water scarcity and at the same time there is some intensive or high flood r also occurs what should be done? Do you aware of developed site and undeveloped site, suppose you are incharge of a undeveloped site that is to be developed what things would you consider? (Requested to specify the context or for what purpose the undeveloped area to be developed like for industry set up? For residential or for other....) What things do you consider to be done first as a civil Engineer? Transferred to M3 So as you mentioned in your daf about Quora article. What is Quora? Which kind of articles? As you stated your B.tech Project on fly ash cement replacement Tell me which property of concrete will enhance? Tell me some other properties benefit of fly ash Fly ash doesn't have binding properties then why we use it ? How is it react with cement? Tell me about design mix? Basic parameters and steps that how to prepare design mix? How would you determine standard deviations for target mean? Do we know standard deviations before testing of samples? Can we calculate standard deviations from 3 samples? How many sample We take at the time of testing? How you would select water content in design mix? What are the 'parameters' and what are the 'variable' in design mix? Suppose for a project that is to be executed in 2 years, is designed mix concrete condition will be same or it will change? Transferred to Chairman: Thank you Manoj, you can go!!
