Premiere of Mediacorp Channel 8 show “To Be Loved” with Sign Language
Tune in to a special television show! On Monday, 29 April 2024, at 9pm, Mediacorp Channel 8 will be airing “To Be Loved” created in consultation with SADeaf and features (hearing) actors signing in certain scenes. Through the inclusion of sign language, this programme encourages the learning and use of Singapore Sign Language and aims to raise Deaf Awareness among viewers.

Hello everyone! MediSign, a student-led organisation from NTU Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine is holding a healthcare workshop for members of the Deaf community on the 20th of April, from 2 pm to 6 pm at the Clinical Sciences Building at 11 Mandalay Road.
During this workshop, you can look forward to learning more about Osteoporosis and Obesity, including how to identify symptoms of Osteoporosis and tips on how to prevent it.
At the end of the workshop, there will be a quiz to test your knowledge, and attractive prizes will be given to top-scoring participants!
As there are only 24 slots available on a first come first serve basis, do share this with your friends and sign up now!

Join us to learn about navigating the social aspects of interpreting from Zane Hema! Zane Hema, from New Zealand, completed a post-graduate diploma in BSL-English Interpreting, is a certified AUSLAN interpreter and is a familiar face at WASLI conferences. He has served in leadership roles on various sign language interpreting boards, including ASLI, EFSLI, WASLI, and on the ASLIAQ Committee and plays an active role in the training, development and mentorship of interpreters globally. He will be presenting on the following:
