Have you ever wondered how Singapore prepares to deal with its resulting impacts? Find out more by joining us in the sixth iteration of our biannual forum, NinetyPercent. Community Suggestions on Non-PS Coded Modules Hi Political Science students, do you think that there are some modules offered by other departments that are highly relevant to the Political Science (PS) curriculum? A group of students, together with PSSOC, are working for these modules to be recognised by the NUS Political Science Department to fulfill PS requirements. If approved, the addition of these modules to the list of PS-recognised modules would help to increase the variety of modules that PS students can take, contributing to a more diverse and nuanced mastery of political studies. More practically, a higher number of recognised level 4000 modules would also help alleviate any potential shortages in PS level 4000 modules in future semesters. You may access the form HERE. When will these modules be PS-recognised? The next window for a revision of the modules recognised towards programme requirements will happen in August 2023, and the process will take 3–4 months. The process will be subject to approval by various authorities in the faculty and department(s). Hence, the earliest we can expect these modules to be PS-recognised would be AY23/24 Sem 2. While many seniors here might have graduated by then, we hope that you will nonetheless help contribute to this initiative to help our junior cohorts. Junior students who have not considered these modules but may be interested in taking them in the future are also highly encouraged to join us in our joint justification!
