The fifth issue of Post Script, the semesterly student publication of NUS PSSOC that provides insightful commentary on current affairs, within & beyond Singapore, has been published! The theme of this issue is ‘The Forgotten and The Unexpected’. There may be an almost infinite amount of information in the world, yet our knowledge pales in comparison. Information that we have forgotten or do not expect may have important implications for our future. Thank you to our panellists and participants for joining us in our sixth iteration of NinetyPercent: Singapore’s Security in a Warming World 🌍 Our panellists engaged our audience in a thought-provoking discussion on the various threats that climate change poses on a global, regional, and local scale. Their candid views shed light on the importance of balancing the roles of individuals and governments in taking responsibility for mitigating climate change, as well as how it will impact security issues in the future. They also emphasised the need for Singapore to work with regional and global partners to form a strong network in addressing this critical issue.
