This Is Goodness
Al-'Allaamah Ibn 'Uthaymeen, may Allaah have mercy upon him:
"Make yourself such that you are always optimistic, and whatever Allaah wants will occur. And be happy and cheerful with an expansive chest, for the world in front of you is spacious, and the path is open, and this is goodness."

Muharram is called this because it is a sacred (muharram) month and to confirm its sanctity. Allah Almighty says that which translates as:
“...so wrong not yourselves therein …” (Tafsir of Ibn Kathir)
Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: “The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:
‘The best of fasting after Ramadan is fasting Allah’s month of Muharram.” (Muslim)
Ibn Abbas said: “The Prophet (ﷺ) came to Madinah and saw Jews fasting on Ashura. He said, ‘What is this?’ They said, ‘This is a righteous day, it is the day when Allah saved the Children of Israel from their enemies, so Musa fasted on this day.’ He (ﷺ) said, ‘We have more right to Musa than you,’ so he fasted on that day and commanded (the Muslims) to fast on that day.” (Bukhari)
The practice of fasting on Ashura was known even in the days of Jahiliyyah, before the Prophet’s mission. It was reported that Ayesha (may Allah be pleased with her) said: “The people of Jahiliyyah used to fast on that day.”
Apparently the motive for commanding the Muslims to fast on this day was the desire to be different from the Jews, so that the Muslims would fast when the Jews did not, because people do not fast on a day of celebration. (Bukhari)
Fasting on Ashura was a gradual step in the process of introducing fasting as a prescribed obligation in Islam.
Fasting appeared in three forms. When the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) came to Madinah, he told the Muslims to fast on three days of every month and on the day of Ashura, then Allah made fasting obligatory when He said:
“ … observing the fasting is prescribed for you …" (Al-Qur’an, 2:183)
The obligation was transferred from the fast of Ashura to the fast of Ramadan.
It was reported from Ibn Mas’ud that when fasting Ramadan was made obligatory, the obligation to fast Ashura was lifted i.e. it was no longer obligatory to fast on this day, but it is still desirable (mustahab).

Year 1444AH/2022
9th Muharram - Sun Aug. 7th
10th Muharram (Day of 'Aashuuraa) - Mon Aug. 8th
بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم
Allah’s Sacred Month of Muharram
It is the first month of the Hijri calendar and is one of the four sacred months concerning which Allah says that which translates as:
“Verily, the number of months with Allah is 12 months (in a year), so it was ordained by Allah on the Day when He created the heavens and the earth; of them, four are sacred. That is the right religion, so wrong not yourselves therein.” (Qur’an, 9:36)
Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Prophet (ﷺ) said:
“The year is 12 months of which four are sacred, the three consecutive months of Dul Qadah, Dul Hijjah and Muharram, and Rajab, which comes between Jumada and Shaban.” (Bukhari)

How Fortunate He Is...
Al-Imaam Ahmad Ibn Hanbal, may Allaah have mercy upon him:

The Salaf used to try and hide their deeds and run away from positions of leadership etc. as they didn't want to be known except with Allaah. But we live in a time where so many people publicise their good deeds to the world, and they want their name to be known. May Allaah protect us, purify our hearts, and make us sincere like the Salaf.

WARNING!
Sheikh Albani rahimahullah classified this hadeeth as “Munkar” (a weak report transmitted by an unreliable narrator contradictory to that of a reliable narrator) [As-Silsilah Adh-Dha’eefah (No. 6428)]
Note:
We are not allowed to attribute this supplication to the Prophet ﷺ as that would be a lie, but this does not mean that we are not allowed to seek protection with Allah from this heat.
May Allah protect the Muslims from the heat of this life as well as the Next.

Umm Salamah, the wife of the Prophet (ﷺ), reported: I heard the Messenger of Allaah ﷺ as saying:
"No servant (of Allaah) suffers a calamity and then says: 'Verily we belong to Allaah and to Him we shall return; O Allaah, reward me for my affliction and replace it for me with something better than it,' except that Allaah will reward him for his affliction and would give him something better than it in exchange." She (Umm Salamah) said: "When Abuu Salamah died, I uttered (these very words) as I was commanded (to do) by the Messenger of Allaah (ﷺ). So Allaah gave me better in exchange than him. (I was taken as the wife of) the Messenger of Allaah (ﷺ)."
