Firestarter Community Update Hello everyone, As some of you may have seen, the $Flame token has been delisted from KuCoin. We want to address this directly and transparently. The launchpad business has been structurally broken since 2022. Most token launches have failed to generate meaningful returns, even on leading platforms. Many of the major launchpads from the 2021 cycle have either shut down entirely or become largely inactive. Market liquidity has been thin, sentiment has been weak, and capital has concentrated into a narrow set of narratives (stablecoin infrastructure, exchanges, perps, prediction markets). The reality is: community-driven fundraising via launchpads no longer has real demand. The core utility of $Flame was to provide exposure to early-stage deals. But the market has moved. Many of the few platforms still seeing traction no longer require a token to access allocations. The model that $Flame was built for no longer exists in practice. We also want to be honest about the business. Firestarter has had a five-year run. We raised seven figures for projects, helped multiple teams secure major exchange listings, and worked alongside strong institutions and foundations. We’re grateful for what we built together. But the market environment has been difficult for a long time, and the company has been operating in bootstrap mode. At this point, we are no longer in a position to continue supporting the $Flame token in its original form. What’s changing • Firestarter will no longer support or develop the $Flame token as a launchpad access token. • Firestarter is pivoting into an advisory business. What we’re focusing on now We’re doubling down on what we’re actually strong at: • Helping projects raise capital • Seccuring major distribution channels and exchange listings • Token economics and go-to-market strategy • Business validation and positioning • Technical and product advisory support Alongside the economic outcomes of our advisory business, Firestarter and/or related parties may gradually acquire $Flame tokens from the open market over time. This is not a guarantee or promise of price performance, but rather a long-term alignment with the community as the business evolves. If we incubate or advise future projects, participation will not require holding any token. The goal is maximum alignment with reality: access and outcomes matter more than symbolic mechanics. To be clear: Firestarter is pivoting, not dead. We will continue to explore ways to create value for the community, including potential prizes, incentives, and money-making opportunities tied to future initiatives where it makes sense. We haven’t stopped working. We just haven’t had major announcements worth forcing into the market. We’d rather be quiet than noisy and irrelevant. We learned a lot, we built real things, and we’re carrying those lessons forward into a model that actually fits the market we’re in today.
