I had to share

Genuine reasons I don't like this song as much 1. The az much ይሆንልኛል ይሳካልኛል ስጋት ሰፈሬን ከራቀ ሰንበትበት ብሎአል This is affirmation or positive confession which is better that murmuring around and feeling depressed but not better than finding comfort in God's will whatever it is. So you are a businessman and you listen to this. It's better than being negative and paranoid but this is what the world can offer. Empty hope. As Christians we should do our part but the outcome we should leave to God. She's obviously singing about earthly stuff as she will make clear at later parts of the song. 2. The reasons በደም ዋጋ ተገዝቻለሁ ምርጥ ዘር ነኝ Now she goes on to tell the reason of her confidence. Her confidence that everything will go the way she planned is that she's bought with the blood. But the Blood shouldn't be called here. His pure and precious blood was shed for eternal reasons and for our salvation from sin and hell. Not to make our earthly possessions and plans secure. Or even our physical health for that matter. “ከአባቶቻችሁ ከወረሳችሁት ከከንቱ ኑሮአችሁ በሚያልፍ ነገር በብር ወይም በወርቅ ሳይሆን፥ ነውርና እድፍ እንደ ሌለው እንደ በግ ደም በክቡር የክርስቶስ ደም እንደ ተዋጃችሁ ታውቃላችሁ።”   — 1ኛ ጴጥሮስ 1፥18-19 3. Word of Faith at it's peak አይሆንም ያለው ማነው? ሰይጣን ነው። But it could be a wise relative. They might be concerned about our wrong expectations and try to help us see things in new ways and make better decisions. But people in these prosperity churches and motivational industries for that matter are so indignant about themselves and see everyone who says what they don't like as evil. ቃሉን በንጉስ ቃል ሽራለሁ So instead of dealing with friends and family kindly you call them out as devils and shout your expectation at their ears. You fight the spiritual battle that doesn't even exist really. We are equating positive expectations with God's voice and negative expectations with the devil. But that's not always the case. God's prophets didn't care about our expectations their business was with the reality. We can call them realists. If things are to be expected positively they said it. If the opposite is true they never hesitated. The prophet Micah was specifically hated by a self assured King for saying "negative" things. “የእስራኤልም ንጉሥ ኢዮሣፍጥን፦ እግዚአብሔርን የምንጠይቅበት የይምላ ልጅ ሚክያስ የሚባል አንድ ሰው አለ፤ ነገር ግን ክፉ እንጂ መልካም ትንቢት አይናገርልኝምና እጠላዋለሁ አለው። ኢዮሣፍጥም፦ ንጉሥ እንዲህ አይበል አለ።”   — 1ኛ ነገሥት 22፥8 But if he listened to the negative things he would have saved himself. He walked over it and got in trouble. Sometimes accepting reality is the key. Not only spiritually but as an adult. 4. Reason for her confidence again.. ክብሩን ትቶ ወርዶአል.. አቅም ሰጥቶኛል.. Jesus didn't come down to make us positive thinkers about our ኑሮ. We all know that. Again confession ደዌ በእኔ ላይ ላይሰለጥን... ዝቅታ ላይሆንብኝ... ላልሸነፍ... Now she makes it explicitly clear the kind of success she is promoting or the confidence she has. It is about physical and earthly things. She advocates the false teaching that Christians don't get sick. Or they don't face any fallback. The bad part is that she ties all this to the cross. በቀራንዮ ተፈጸመ ብሎልኛል So 2000 years ago her physical safety was secured. But this is not the teaching of the Bible. Neither Jesus nor the Apostles taught that our finances and health are secured because of the cross. The song promotes health and wealth theology but it is cool because it came from a beloved singer.
