Zor kinbaku/travels/updates

New elements for the expedition vehicle. I usually design everything in CAD, using Rhino 7 (I know it is an unusual choice but it is SO powerful). Then I cut the pieces in 3mm MDF. Very easy to cut using Japanese dozuki or a cutter. These are the models. Then I test the pieces and I order them in CNC alubond 3mm. :)

I just got vaccinations against Typhoid fever, meningitis, Hepatitis A and Yellow Fever in a single day. Mi arm is like a potato now and i have some fever. But the preparation for the expedition continues! Meanwhile, I spent 10 days in the Canary Islands giving some workshops, including a Photography and Aesthethics in Kinbaku workshop, focused on outdoors. I cant wait to see the final results.

Vehicle preparation at 75% now :) Next steps are : - Water purification system (and all the water system, including the heater). - Finishing the last elements of the electrical system. - Ordering the CNC furniture. If everything is ok, it will be finished in around 3 months. The. some testing in Spain, final modifications for Africa and we will depart.

Margout in Iceland :)

After appearing in the National newspaper, the amount of people contacting us for learning shibari increased a lot. People with honest curiosity, interested in shows, in learning, in the cultural aspects. So we sold all our workshops for the next months, but we are already preparing new ones. Having 3 instructors now (and 4 assistants) is a blessing, as we can do two workshops at the same time, and it allows us to travel for teaching. Thanks so much ❤️

Water purification system in progress. Particle filter, then water to the tank, treated with ion silver net. From there the water will go through a carbon filter and then into a UV light desinfección unit that will destroy all dna. :)
