تذكر قوله تعالى "وَلَيُبَدِّلَنَّهُم مِّن بَعْدِ خَوْفِهِمْ أَمْنًا ۚ" (من بعد خوفهم أمنًا) , وكأن طريق الأمن هو استكمال طريق الخوف، وكأن الأمان في هذه الدنيا ما هو الا ثمرة التضرع لله عند الخوف، وما للقلب من مفرٍ أن يخَف، فيهرع لخالقه فيطمئن. الخوف جندٌ من جنود الله، يأتي بنا إليه، رغمًا عنا، رغمًا عن جحودنا اللامنطقي، وظنّنا أننا قد خرقنا السماء! وحين ندرك ذلك، حين نَعُودُ تاركينَ إليه الأمر كلّه، مُقِرّين بضعفنا في دفع الضُر عن أنفسنا، تُخَيّمُ السَكينةُ على الأرجاء، ويُبدلنا العظيمُ الحليمُ مِن بعد خوفِنا أمنًا.

د.أحمد عبد المنعم كان بيقول إنه مشكلتنا إننا مش عاوزين إلا الأثر الدنيوي الملموس، ونسينا عِظم أجر السّعي وده أظنه السبب في تراخينا لما نلاقي الأمور مش ماشية زي ما إحنا عاوزين أو لما النتيجة -الدُنيوية- متطلعش مُرضية! مع إننا أصلًا مش مطالبين بالنتيجة وده من رحمة ربنا وله حكمة -سبحانه- فـ ليه الإنسان بقى يكلف نفسه ما لا يُطيق ويجلد في ذاته، فيستثقل بعدها السعي إللي هو مُطالب به أصلًا! :)) إحنا محتاجين نستحضر كل لحظة إن الحساب على السعي مش النتائج.
