As believers, we are called to pray continually. Prayer is the place of transformation, unveiling, birthing, alignment, and divine encounter. For over 90 days, we have sought God in prayer and fasting. Now, as we come to the close of this season, we gather for an extended 10-hour prayer to press deeper, contend in faith, and lay hold of all that God has ordained. “Pray continually.” 1 Thessalonians 5:17 As Nigeria marks 66 years of independence, we stand together in prayer for our nation, believing God for mercy, peace, righteousness, restoration, prosperity, and a new expression of His purpose in Nigeria. 30 DAYS OF OVERWHELMING VICTORY BY MERCY - DAY 30 Philippians 4:13 (KJV): “I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.”   Exhortation: Thirty days ago we began a journey into victory by mercy. We have looked at the Word, faith, integrity, humility, renewed minds, sustained strength, well-being, perseverance, a sound mind, the blood of the Lamb, and the wisdom of God. Today the series closes on a verse that gathers all of it into one declaration: "I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me." Look at where the strength comes from. Paul does not say, "I can do all things because I am gifted," or "because I am disciplined," or "because I have finally figured it out." He says through Christ. The victory you have walked in these thirty days was never self-generated. It was mercy from the first day to the last. Christ is the source, and He does not run dry. This is not motivational talk but a declaration of capacity in Christ. You must  realize that your strength is not self-generated; it is supplied. Many people underestimate themselves because they measure their ability by past experiences or current limitations. But this scripture shifts your reference point completely. You are not operating alone but functioning through Christ. That means your capacity is expanded beyond natural ability.    So when you are faced with tasks that feel bigger than your preparation, maybe new responsibilities, business pressure, academic challenges, or career transitions. Without this understanding, you may step back in fear or hesitation. But with this Word alive in you, you step forward with confidence not because everything is easy, but because strength is available. You stop saying “I can’t do this” and begin to align with God’s perspective. Then you will realize that you are able to handle more than you previously thought possible. You grow into assignments that once intimidated you. You have not come this far by your own effort. Mercy has carried you, and mercy will carry you still. Finish strong, and keep walking in victory. 30 DAYS OF OVERWHELMING VICTORY BY MERCY - DAY 29 James 1:5 (KJV): “If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.”   Exhortation: Victory by mercy is not only about God's power to deliver us. It is also about His willingness to guide us. Many believers pray for open doors but never ask for the wisdom to walk through them. James speaks plainly: "If any of you lack wisdom." He does not say "if any of you are foolish." He says lack. That is an honest admission that we do not know everything, and that we are not meant to. Our own understanding cannot carry us through every season, every decision, and every crossroad. Then comes the invitation: "let him ask of God." Wisdom is not earned by our intelligence, credentials, or experience. It is received by asking. The One who created all things and knows the end from the beginning is offering us access to His mind. Every wrong turn we could have avoided and every costly mistake we could have prevented was already covered by an invitation we did not take up. Wisdom is not reserved for a few special people but it is available to anyone who asks. God is not withholding direction from His children. The problem is not lack of access, but lack of asking. Many people live with pressure because they are trying to figure everything out by themselves. They rely on experience, emotion, or opinions from others, and that often leads to avoidable mistakes. But God invites you into a better way of living where you consistently ask and receive insight. Asking for wisdom is not a sign of weakness; it is a recognition of relationship. It means you acknowledge that there is a higher intelligence available to guide your decisions.    So, stop rushing into things and start receiving wisdom from God. Let wisdom guide you in making the right decision for your business , career, finances and relationships. Wisdom will make your life to become more structured because your decisions are guided, not random.   Prayer:  I receive wisdom from God continually. 30 DAYS OF OVERWHELMING VICTORY BY MERCY - DAY 28 Revelation 12:11 (KJV) ”And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.”   Exhortation: Victory is never won by human strength, and this verse shows us why. The believers John saw were not conquerors because of their own might, their eloquence, or their resources. They overcame "by the blood of the Lamb." Their victory was already purchased at Calvary, and mercy is what made it available to them. The accuser could bring every charge against them, but the blood answered every one. Where guilt spoke, mercy spoke louder. Where condemnation rose, the blood of Jesus declared us forgiven, redeemed, and justified. As we close this season of prayer and fasting, this verse stands as a triumphant declaration of what you are and how you operate as a believer. Overcoming is not something you pursue, it is something you have already been equipped for. The blood of the Lamb has settled the legal issue completely. Every accusation, every condemnation, every ground the enemy has tried to claim over your life has been answered by the cross. You stand in a place of established victory. But this verse also highlights the power of your testimony. Your testimony is not just a story from the past. It is a weapon for the present. When you declare what God has done, you are reinforcing truth against every lie the enemy tries to advance. You are reminding yourself and the spiritual realm of the faithfulness of God. A testimony held and shared actively is a testimony that continues to produce. This month, God has been adding to your testimony. Speak it boldly. The final phrase “they loved not their lives unto the death” speaks of a wholehearted surrender. These are people who placed God’s will above personal comfort, personal agenda, and self-preservation. That surrender is not something to fear, it is the doorway to the greatest freedom you will ever experience. When you are not clinging to your own plans, God can move through your life in ways that are beyond anything you could have engineered. As this month ends and a new one begins, carry the Word, carry your testimony, and walk forward as one who has overcome. Because you have. Glory to God! Prayer: I declare that I overcome by the blood of the Lamb and the word of my testimony. 30 DAYS OF OVERWHELMING VICTORY BY MERCY - DAY 26 Psalm 23:1 (KJV) “The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.”   Exhortation: There is a settled confidence that rises in the heart of a believer who has come to know the Lord as Shepherd. David did not say "the Lord was" or "the Lord will be" he declared, in the present tense, "The Lord IS my shepherd." This is the language of covenant intimacy, not distant theology. A shepherd does not merely supply for the flock from afar; he walks with them, knows each one by name, and positions himself between the sheep and every threat that would come against them. These seven words carry one of the most powerful revelations in all of scripture. When you acknowledge that the Lord is your Shepherd, you are not simply using a poetic expression, you are making a declaration about your source and your covering. A shepherd provides everything his sheep need: direction, protection, nourishment, and restoration. To say “The LORD is my shepherd” is to say, “I lack nothing, because my supplier has no lack.” The statement “I shall not want” is not a wish, it is a conclusion. It follows logically from who your Shepherd is. When you truly understand who God is: His nature, His power, His faithfulness, His covenant commitment to you. The natural result is a settled freedom from the anxiety of lack. Want: whether of provision, wisdom, strength, peace, or opportunity cannot thrive in the life of someone whose Shepherd is the LORD. Make this verse personal today. Speak it with conviction. Let it shift the atmosphere of your thinking. Wherever you have been operating under a spirit of lack, of not enough, of scarcity,bring it under the authority of this truth. God is your Shepherd. He knows what you need before you ask. He leads you by still waters and restores your soul. In His care, you are not surviving : you are flourishing. You shall not want! Go ahead and make these confessions today and always… I decree that the Lord is my Shepherd, and therefore I shall not want. I declare that every need in my life, spiritual, financial, physical, and relational is met according to His riches. I prophesy that I am led, not left; guided, not abandoned. I decree that lack, poverty, and anxiety have no legal, moral, foundational or whatever other kind of right to my life, for my Shepherd goes before me. I declare that I dwell in green pastures and beside still waters, for my soul is restored in Him. I decree this by mercy, in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen. 30 DAYS OF OVERWHELMING VICTORY BY MERCY - DAY 25 Galatians 6:9 (KJV) ”And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.”   Exhortation: There is a season fixed for every seed sown in faith, and that season is called "due season" not "convenient season," not "immediate season," but _due_ season, the appointed time set by God Himself that emphasizes the harvest is guaranteed. The only condition attached to the promise is that you do not faint. This means that the greatest threat to your harvest is not opposition from outside, _but weariness from within_. The enemy does not need to stop you outright; he simply needs to discourage you long enough that you stop before the breakthrough arrives. Weariness is real, and God does not dismiss it. But He gives you a word that cuts through it: “due season.” There is a set time for your harvest. It may not be on your preferred timeline, but it is on a divine one. Seeds that are properly sown always produce: this is a law of the Kingdom. What you have invested in prayer, obedience, service, faithful work, and right living has not been wasted. It is producing, even when you cannot see it yet. The farmer does not dig up his seed in the third month to check if it is working; he waits, he waters, he trusts the process, and he reaps in the season appointed. This is your season to hold your ground. Do not faint. Do not quit one field before the next. Your due season is scheduled. The instruction is clear: do not quit. Keep doing what is right. Keep showing up. Keep serving, keep giving, keep believing, keep working with integrity. The discipline of continuing when results are not yet visible is what separates those who eventually reap from those who stop just before the harvest. Your due season is closer than it has ever been. 30 DAYS OF OVERWHELMING VICTORY BY MERCY - DAY 24 3 John 1:2 (KJV) “Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.”   Exhortation: The word "beloved" comes first. Before any blessing is mentioned, you are identified as loved. Your prosperity flows from relationship, not from performance, and mercy is the door through which that relationship opens. This verse reveals the will of God for your life with unmistakable clarity. God is not indifferent to your welfare. He actively desires that you prosper and be in health. But notice that there is a qualifier: “even as thy soul prospereth.” The prosperity of your soul, your inner man, your mind, will, and emotions shaped by the Word of God is the foundation on which all other forms of flourishing and prosperity rests. Prosperity in Scripture is never narrow. It covers your spirit, your body, your finances, your family, and your assignment. Mercy has already provided for all of it. What remains is for you to receive by faith what grace has freely given. Refuse the small thinking that says God is only interested in your salvation and not in your daily wellbeing. The same Father who forgave your sins also delights in your health and in the work of your hands. This means, inner growth is not separate from outer results; it is the prerequisite for them. When your soul is prospering, that is, when you are growing in the Word, renewing your mind, developing your character, and strengthening your faith, you are building the infrastructure that supports the blessings of God. A person whose soul is not growing cannot contain or sustain the prosperity God wants to release. It is the prospering soul that provides the right environment for lasting breakthrough. Invest in your inner life. Read the Word with intention. Pray consistently. Allow God to shape your character, your thinking, and your values. As your soul grows stronger and more aligned with God’s truth, you will find that the prosperity and health He desires for you begins to manifest not as a sudden stroke of luck, but as a natural overflow of a life that is being built from the inside out. 30 DAYS OF OVERWHELMING VICTORY BY MERCY - DAY 23 2 Corinthians 5:7 (KJV) “For we walk by faith, not by sight.”   Exhortation: Apostle Paul makes it clear which way belongs to the child of God: we walk by faith, not by sight. This is not a suggestion; it is the operating principle of every believer who intends to live victoriously in a world that constantly presents evidence contrary to God's promises. Faith is not the absence of reality; it is the choice to operate by a higher reality than what the natural eye can see. What you see around you is real, but it is not final. There is a dimension above your senses, a realm governed by the Word and Spirit of God and faith is the faculty that gives you access to it. When you walk by faith, you are not ignoring facts; you are submitting those facts to a higher truth. Many people are held captive by their senses, the state of the economy, the medical report, the empty account, the closed door. And while those things are visible, they are subject to change. Sight looks at the empty account and despairs. Faith looks at the God who owns cattle on a thousand hills and rejoices. Sight sees the diagnosis. Faith sees the stripes by which healing was purchased. This is the tension every believer must resolve and mercy has already resolved it in our favor, for it was by grace we were called into a walk that does not answer to circumstances but to the unshakable Word of God. When you anchor yourself in what God has said rather than in what your eyes report, you introduce spiritual forces into your situation that are greater than the situation itself. That is how faith works. Walking by faith is a daily discipline. It means choosing your confession carefully. It means refusing to make permanent decisions based on temporary conditions. It means continuing to act on God’s Word even when the external evidence has not yet caught up. As you keep walking in this direction, the things you are believing for begin to manifest not because you denied the challenge, but because you gave God’s Word the final authority over your life. The natural eye sees Goliath's height; faith sees a giant already defeated in the spirit. The natural eye sees the Red Sea; faith sees a highway through it. When my faith walk is tested by delay, by contradiction, by silence from heaven the anchor remains the same: what God has said outweighs what circumstances show. Sight is temporary and often deceptive. Faith is eternal and always accurate, because it rests not on feelings but on the unchanging character of God. This is a season to stop consulting your eyes for verdicts God has not authorized. Sight will always argue with the promise. Faith settles the argument by simply agreeing with heaven. Walk today not by what you see, but by what you know God has said and watch what was invisible become inevitable. Glory to God! Prayer: I declare that I walk by faith and not by sight. 30 DAYS OF OVERWHELMING VICTORY BY MERCY - DAY 22 Isaiah 40:31 (KJV) “But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.” Exhortation: There is a strength that does not come from human effort but from divine exchange. Waiting on the Lord is not inactivity it is a posture of complete dependence and expectation. In a world that celebrates speed and self-sufficiency, waiting feels counterintuitive. But God has structured the Kingdom in such a way that those who wait on Him are the ones who receive the greatest advantage. The waiting is not wasted; it is where your strength is being renewed. Mercy is what makes this exchange possible. We do not earn renewed strength by our own righteousness or striving; we receive it because God, in His mercy, meets the weary and the weak. Every believer walking through this Victory by Mercy season has faced seasons of weariness in ministry, in family, in health, in purpose. But the promise stands: those who wait on the Lord do not stay drained. They are lifted. They soar above circumstances that once weighed them down. They run their race without collapsing, and they walk through ordinary days without fainting. This is the victory that mercy secures, not the absence of weariness, but the guarantee of renewal in the presence of God. When you feel you have nothing left, that is the moment to wait, not to withdraw. Fix your eyes on Him, and watch your strength be exchanged for His. Glory to God! An eagle does not flap frantically to rise; it catches the wind and soars. That is the picture God is painting here. When you wait on the Lord, you tap into a supernatural current that carries you above what effort alone can achieve. Your strength does not just return; it is renewed. Which means it comes back in a higher and better form than before. You rise above fatigue, above discouragement, above the limitations of your natural capacity. The promise is clear: you will run and not be weary, you will walk and not faint. This is endurance that outlasts the pressure around you. It means you will not collapse under the demands of life. You will keep going, keep growing, and keep rising not because of what you have in yourself, but because of what God deposits in you as you wait on Him. Prayer: I declare that as I wait on the Lord, my strength is renewed.
