you are allowed to have a completely unreasonable amount of excitement over something small. finding a really good restaurant. getting the perfect seat on a flight. discovering a new song. having an unexpectedly free afternoon. getting home early enough to do absolutely nothing. these tiny victories make life fun. you do not need a major achievement every week to have something to look forward to @thelostdiary ━━━━━━━━━

i saw your favourite perfume today and laughed out loud. not because it was funny. but because grief has such a twisted sense of timing. sometimes it shows up in supermarkets, in the middle of Friday evenings, when I least expect it and least know what to do with it.
