“They created this monster despite the best efforts of selfless servants like us. It was always fun and liberating to simply label a standard bearer as being an asshole, controlling, whatever. This way, they could remain comfortable in their incompetence and shadiness. The “were here to help” joke has been passed down from generation to generation of those who couldn’t (or simply refused to) meet Army standards and not adhere to regulations we all learned before we even had aviator badges awarded. They were too self-centered to admit that the majority of the formation relied on a mix of luck and engineering to mask their poor leadership, terrible decision-making, and not holding individuals accountable while continuing to label those who actually DID take their duties seriously as stated above. They trusted the wrong type of Warrant Officer, even encouraged purposely leaving strong leaders out of key positions because they preferred the ego-stroking “yes men”. They made officers commanders based on how svelte they looked in their DA photos rather than for their proven leadership and potential to lead in the positions. They continue to celebrate an all female crew simply living through a 1.5 hour flight during the day, at home station, and including only 1,000-series tasks. They’ve scribbled all over tasks, regulations, events, and even calendar months with crayons and diluted them, all in the name of inclusion. Name any legendary leader who pulled us through World War II, then ask yourself, “would (Patton, Boyington, LeMay, Plumley, for example) have been promoted upward through the ranks today?” Then pick a handful of leaders from today’s armed forces and ask yourself if they have what it takes to have performed as those you chose above would? Eye-opening. Now, look what’s happening since they ran all the quality off. They created this monster…and it’s devouring them. Let it eat.” - Group of active and retired CW5s

📥: In a statement Friday, the Archdiocese for the Military Services, USA, said that Archbishop Timothy Broglio “is confident that within hours of receiving documentation of the 2011 incident of sexual misconduct, Father Mode ensured and directed that key Coast Guard personnel and chaplains responsible for advising and briefing their commanders were emailed all of the detailed and pertinent documents.” It is certainly starting to look like the CG is using Chaplain Mode as a scapegoat. What are they hiding? Or is this another instance like Admiral Fagen relieving the Commanding Officer of the ship her daughter had been assigned to? https://www.catholicnewsagency.com/news/257548/coast-guard-chaplain-reassigned-after-failure-to-report-on-sexual-misconduct-case

Coast Guard chaplain reassigned after failure to report on sexual misconduct case

Capt. (Father) Daniel Mode, who remains a priest in good standing, has been reassigned to an “administrative position” in the U.S. Navy Chief of Chaplains Office.

I haven’t even seen this kind of conformity at NTC rotations. When Soros puts on a show, he makes sure the logistics are on point.

M1, the company awarded the aviation maintenance service contract on Fort Rucker (Novosel), released a memo to its work force today regarding the potential for reduction in flights on the installation. “While M1 understands the employees' concerns, as of the date of this Memorandum, M1 has not received any official communication from the Army that potential Fort Novosel flight training reductions will adversely affect M1's maintenance services contract. Contrary, M1 has received full incremental funding for maintenance performance through mid to late July 2024. In the event that Army flight training at Fort Novosel is impacted, USAACE has developed several courses of action that will potentially reduce flight training requirements temporarily until the funding issues are resolved. Such reduction would allow M1 the opportunity to focus on maintaining fleet health across the contract. We remain confident in our ability to navigate these potential circumstances and emerge with a stronger fleet to support the training program. If or when M1 receives any official word from the Army impacting maintenance operations, M1 will promptly communicate such to the Fort Novosel workforce. If you have any questions or concerns please reach out to your field leadership. Thank you for your unwavering commitment and dedication to the contract.”

Small update. Right now they’re still on track to shut it down. I talked to someone else who echoed something similar, earlier. I’m still in disbelief and tend to think they’ll find money somewhere, but we’ll see.
