UBS Asset Management, one of the world's largest fund houses, has reportedly launched its first "live pilot" of a tokenised version of its variable capital company (VCC) fund as part of Project Guardian - an initiative led by Singapore’s central bank. The pilot, which runs on the Ethereum blockchain, allows UBS Asset Management to test various fund activities on-chain, including subscriptions and redemptions.
