22nd September,2020. Topic: The Consequences of Wickedness Verses: 2 Chronicles 23: 12-21 Observation: King Joash, is crowned king at age 7, and his grandmother, who was the queen, is killed. Understanding: Evildoers shall not go unpunished. God hates evil, and when we do evil, it draws us away from him. As Christians, we should always ask for forgiveness of sins, when we sin. We must steer away from evil, because no matter your deed, once it's evil, you will be punished. Application: Steer Clear Away from Evil. Prayer Point: Dear Lord, help those who are living evil lives understand what they are doing, and change their ways for the greater good.

E06: Coming out of the darkness, Part Two Ed picked up his grandfather's shotgun, and went out to find the shooter. I on the other hand, stayed and did the best I could to keep Mr. Gomes alive. I called 911, the emergency line, and explained the situation to them. I went in for a rug in the kitchen, covered the wound to prevent extra loss of blood, and began to pray. 'Our Father, who art in Heaven, may your name be holy, and may your Kingdom come. May your--' 'Martin!' Mr. Gomes called my name. 'Rest, Sir. Do not talk. Medic's on the way. Just calm down. Everything will be oka--' 'Hebrews 13:5. the basement code. 4040.' He said. 'What?' 'Take care of Ed for me, will you? promise me that you won't let him go wayward.' 'I promise. Now calm down.' I raised my head, looking to see if the ambulance had arrived. When I looked back at him, he was gone. Weird thing was that, he was smiling! I closed his eyes for him, and had a seat on the couch. 'That son a--' Ed shouted, and stopped upon realising that his grandad was gone. 'How long?' He asked me. ' You missed him by a minute or two. May his soul rest in perfect peace.' Ed leaned against the wall, slid down, and began to cry. I placed my face in my palms, thinking about what could have happened if Mr Gomes didn't pay for me to get out of jail.
