We are offering personalized career advising to ambitious, altruistically-minded students interested in (but not limited to) the fields of AI alignment, development economics, biostatistics/pandemics, animal welfare, product management, robotics, startups, etc. Most career advice out there is EU/US-based — our advisors are experienced professionals in their respective fields (e.g. researchers, engineers, generalists, profs) familiar with the Singapore context. Hello fellow GL Students!! Did you know that it is possible to go on an overseas expedition to fulfil your GL advanced methodology course requirement (8MCs nonetheless?!!?)? Look no further and grab the chance to spend 4 weeks of your simmer break in Thailand with GE3230A: Field Studies in Southeast Asia! GE3230A is an 8 MC course conducted from 20 May – 20 June (excluding an Orientation week from 13 — 17 May) that aims to develop various soft skills through fieldwork, cultural exchanges and homestays, conducted in Northern Thailand and Laos! Anyone from Year 1 to 4 may join as there are no prerequisites. Furthermore, GL students will be able to fulfil it as their advanced methodology course under the major requirements outside of the normal semester!
