⚠️ 6/24 NETWORK UPDATE - Khala Node V0.1.16 & Phala Runtime Bridge (prb) v2.3.0 upgrade This runtime upgrade includes several breaking changes: 1. Khala-node v0.1.16 - Merged security update from Substrate v0.9.24. - Fixed the bug that could not refresh the confidential-level of each worker by re-confirming phalaregister.registerworker function. - Updated new functions from Khala network to support PhalaWorld. Phala Runtime Bridge (prb) v2.3.0 -（PRB v2.2）By interacting with PRuntime 0.2.4, sync-time has been reduced. -（PRB v2.2）Increased operational reliability of the PRB. - Adapted force_batch extrinsics to ensure compatibility with future versions of the network. - Fixed the bug that returns wrong status when sending RPC call from a batch. Details: https://github.com/Phala-Network/runtime-bridge/releases/tag/v2.3.0 ======== Please follow the upgrade instructions: >> Khala node: - Solo-ming script：`sudo phala update` - Please use PRB or other Khala-node nodes that are running: docker pull to update khala-node’s docker image to the latest version >> Phala Runtime Bridge (PRB) : - From PRB V2.2.0, workers need to pull and update all modules from PRB to the lastest version. - Any PRB workers, in between v1.0.0 to v2.2.0, need to follow the instructions from the page here: https://wiki.phala.network/en-us/mine/prb2/migrating-from-v2.0-and-v2.1-to-v2.2/ Recommendations for the upgrade: This update priority is MEDIUM for solo-miners, it won’t affect your node in the short-term, but it is recommended to stay your nodes up-to-date. But for all PRB users, it is a HIGH priority to update their nodes ASAP, otherwise your nodes will start to panick.

After the Kusama v0.9.20 upgrade, the parachain block time has been greatly reduced from around 24s to 15s. So we apply a proposal to adjust the tokenomic parameter to match the 15s block time, and the block_subsidy will be reduced from 183.3 to 125 (100 PHA * 15s / 12s). Dear Phamily, Khala has won the #32 Kusama slot auction with parachain ID 2111. Khala will keep the original parachain ID 2004 and swap with the new slot.
