STRENGTH IN ENDURANCE:
"They became more Irish than the Irish" is a phrase one has likely encountered when studying Celtic history, the conqueror assimilated by the Celtic world he had devastated. Slowly through the course of generations, the conqueror while having routed the Celtic armies on the field, is himself conquered by the strong vitality of Celtic culture & religion. A key part of survival is having the strength to endure, overcoming hardship and setbacks, bouncing back from failure.

Despite centuries of occupation, persecution, discrimination, and pseudoscientific racism that called the Celts "less than human", have all been conquered by the enduring spirit of the Celt.
