📯 Wall Street Weekly Digest 📌 This week was all about $80K, ETF flows and the Fed. Bitcoin started September under pressure, then reclaimed $80K as institutional demand came roaring back. U.S. spot BTC ETFs pulled in roughly $770M during the first four trading days of September, including a massive $730.9M inflow on September 3. Then Friday's U.S. jobs report reminded everyone that macro still controls the steering wheel. Bitcoin: I’m back above $80K. Jobs report: “Are you sure about that?” 😂 💎 Cryptocurrencies 📌 Bitcoin reclaimed $80K on September 3, helped by the huge ETF inflow day. BTC later slipped back below $80K after the stronger-than-expected U.S. jobs report pushed rate-hike expectations higher. BTC keeps visiting $80K like it owns the place. 📌 Ethereum held around $2.5K, while ETH ETFs remained one of the strongest institutional stories. The market is increasingly seeing ETH as more than simply the second coin as treasury companies and ETFs accumulate it. ETH finally stopped being BTC's little brother. 😏 📌 Zcash became one of the week's biggest altcoin stories, reaching its highest price in almost a decade as the launch of the first U.S. spot Zcash ETF attracted institutional attention. Privacy coins suddenly remembered they can pump too. 📌 Solana remained strong, trading around $105–107 and outperforming BTC on several sessions. Solana's ecosystem also reported 5.2B non-vote transactions during August, $143M in app revenue and more than $683M of tokenized-equity supply. SOL is basically running its own little economy. 🚀 🏦 Crypto Exchanges & Institutional 📌 Bitcoin ETFs attracted approximately $770M during September 1–4. The September 3 inflow of $730.87M was the strongest single-day result since January and one of the biggest ETF days of 2026. Wall Street didn't get the memo that September is supposed to be bearish. 📌 BlackRock's IBIT was responsible for roughly $454M of the September 3 inflow, followed by ARKB at about $137.7M and Fidelity's FBTC at around $74.4M. BlackRock casually absorbed half the day's flow. 🐳 📌 Ethereum ETFs also remained active, with the September 1 session bringing another $87.7M of inflows and extending the ETH ETF streak to 11 sessions. The streak was finally broken on September 3, when ETH ETFs saw $48.1M of outflows. ETH had a 12-day winning streak. Respect. 🫡 📌 Kraken announced the delisting of 21 tokens, with trading and deposits ending September 11. Withdrawals remain available until December 10. September cleaning day came early. 🧹 🪙 Financial News & Stablecoins 📌 USDC supply increased by roughly $584M during the week, contributing to more than $1B of growth across the stablecoin market. The expansion suggests fresh liquidity continues entering the crypto ecosystem despite BTC's volatility. Stablecoin liquidity keeps quietly doing the heavy lifting. 📌 A group of 21 global banks and financial institutions reportedly moved toward launching a reserve-backed USD stablecoin, targeting cross-border payments and settlement, with a potential launch in the first half of 2027. TradFi finally wants its own stablecoin. 💵 ⚖️ Regulation 📌 The U.S. Senate's September 15 vote on the Clarity Act is becoming a major crypto-market event. The legislation could establish a clearer division of authority between the SEC and CFTC and provide a broader framework for digital assets. Crypto regulation finally has a date on the calendar. 📌 Important correction: the SEC's “Regulation Crypto Assets” framework is still a proposal, not a live exemption. The proposal includes potential exemptions for certain offerings up to $5M and $75M thresholds, but nothing has become a blanket exemption for new tokens or issuers. Crypto Twitter almost celebrated something that hasn't happened yet. Classic. 😂 ⚙️ Technology 📌 Solana's Transaction V1 upgrade is scheduled for September 9, with the goal of increasing transaction capacity by roughly 3.3× and enabling new zero-knowledge-proof and cross-chain functionality. Solana apparently looked at speed and said: More. 📌 Solana also continues preparing for Alpenglow, an upcoming consensus upgrade targeting roughly 150ms finality later this year. Fast chain wants to become ridiculously fast. 🚨 Hacks & Security 📌 August turned out to be the busiest hacking month of 2026 so far: PeckShield counted 50 major incidents, up 67% from July. Total losses were approximately $136.3M, however — down almost 50% month-on-month. 📌 Tectonic was responsible for roughly $74M of August's losses, making it the biggest exploit of the month and one of the largest crypto thefts of 2026. More hacks, smaller bags. Still not exactly great marketing for DeFi. 😬 🌎 Macro 📌 The U.S. August jobs report changed the tone of the market. Nonfarm payrolls rose by 162,000, nearly three times the roughly 56,000 consensus estimate, while unemployment remained at 4.1%. The stronger labor data pushed September Fed-hike expectations sharply higher and sent BTC back below $80K. The Fed wanted economic weakness. The jobs report brought a surprise package. 📦 📌 Next week's U.S. CPI report is now the big macro event for crypto. Traders will be watching whether inflation gives the Fed room to ease policy or keeps the September rate decision restrictive. Next boss fight: CPI. 👀 Global Market Data 👇🏻

📯 Wall Street Weekly Digest 📌 BTC touched $81k this week, but gave most of the move back and closes around $78k. ETH also cooled off after a huge August rally, while SOL continued to outperform on institutional demand. The big story this week: money is still flowing into crypto infrastructure and ETFs, but Friday reminded everyone that the Fed can still ruin the party in one speech. 😇 💎 Cryptocurrencies 📌 Bitcoin broke above $80,000 for the first time since May, reaching $81,237 as a weaker dollar and U.S. Treasury bond-buyback plans boosted the so-called “debasement trade. BTC then dropped back below $77k after Friday's Fed shock. The $80k door opened. BTC immediately forgot why it came in. 📌 Bitmine now holds 5.85M ETH, equal to 4.8% of the entire Ethereum supply, with more than 5M ETH already staked. Total crypto + cash holdings reached $14.9B. Tom Lee is slowly becoming Ethereum's unofficial whale. 🐳 📌 Solana approved its Double Disinflation proposal, accelerating the reduction of SOL issuance. The proposal is expected to reduce future issuance by roughly 18.9M SOL over six years. Less inflation, more SOL scarcity. Not a bad combo. 😏 📌 Solana ETFs had their strongest day of 2026, pulling in $60.9M on August 27. August has already become their strongest month of the year. Wall Street apparently discovered SOL. 🤑 🏦 Institutional & ETFs 📌 U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs ended a nine-day inflow streak with $201.9M of outflows on Friday. Before that, the funds had attracted roughly $3B during the nine-session buying streak. One red day after nine green ones — Wall Street is allowed to breathe too. 😇 📌 Ethereum ETFs remained strong, recording another $102.1M inflow on August 28. BlackRock's ETHA alone attracted $86.3M that day. ETH ETFs clearly didn't get the memo about Friday's panic. 😂 📌 Bitwise Solana Staking ETF became the first SOL ETF to surpass $1B in AUM, despite SOL still being far below its ATH. Institutional adoption keeps growing even when the chart looks ugly. Interesting. 👀 📌 XRP ETFs attracted a record $110.5M during the week, the strongest weekly inflow of 2026, pushing cumulative inflows above $1.66B. XRP quietly stealing the ETF spotlight. 🏦 Crypto Exchanges & TradFi 📌 Charles Schwab announced plans to add SOL, AVAX and LINK to its crypto platform, expanding beyond BTC and ETH. Schwab already has more than $12T in client assets. Crypto is slowly becoming just another button inside the broker app. 📲 📌 Kraken announced upcoming asset delistings, with deposits and trading for affected tokens ending September 11. Not every token gets to survive the bear-market résumé review. 🪦 🪙 Stablecoins & Regulation 📌 SEC's proposed “Regulation Crypto Assets” framework continues to reshape the U.S. market, introducing tailored rules and potential exemptions for certain crypto offerings. 📌 SEC sent a new crypto custody rule to the White House for review, potentially changing how investment advisers and funds can custody digital assets. The boring stuff is actually some of the most important stuff. 👀 📌 Revolut started rolling out its EURR euro-backed stablecoin in parts of Europe while preparing to phase out USDT for EEA customers ahead of the MiCA transition. Stablecoin wars are moving from dollars to euros. 🇪🇺 ⚖️ Prediction Markets 📌 A U.S. appeals court ruled against Kalshi in its Nevada sports-betting fight, saying federal commodities law likely does not prevent Nevada from applying its gambling regulations. Prediction markets just discovered that states also have lawyers. 📌 The CFTC fined a former White House aide $172,539 for using advance information from Trump's speeches to trade prediction-market contracts on Kalshi. Insider trading, but make it prediction markets. 🧠 Macro 📌 U.S. equity funds suffered $22.3B of weekly outflows, the biggest since March, as investors positioned ahead of Nvidia earnings and Fed Chair Kevin Warsh's Jackson Hole speech.

📯 Wall Street Weekly Digest 📌 Bitcoin finally woke up. BTC jumped back above $79K during the week, while Ethereum and major altcoins joined the rally. XRP led the move with nearly +40%, while HYPE, ZEC and LINK also gained more than 30%. The crypto market remembered how green candles work. 💎 Cryptocurrencies 📌 Bitcoin ETFs attracted $517M on August 19, their strongest daily inflow since early May, while Ethereum ETFs pulled in another $189M. The rally also wiped out around $2.7B in bearish positions. Shorts learned an expensive lesson. 📌 U.S. spot Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs recorded around $2.6B of combined weekly inflows, marking their strongest week since October. Institutions are back shopping. 📌 Bitcoin briefly crossed $79,000, posting its strongest weekly rally in roughly two years as liquidity expectations improved. BTC found the turbo button. 📌 XRP jumped nearly 40% during the rally, while HYPE, ZEC and LINK gained more than 30%. Altseason sent a postcard. 📌 Solana reduced its slot time from 400ms to 350ms, the first step toward its longer-term 200ms target. Solana pressed fast-forward. 📌 Zcash surged toward $850, reaching an eight-year high as traders speculated around growing institutional interest and a potential Grayscale ETF. Privacy coins are back. 🏦 Crypto Exchanges & Markets 📌 South Korea's Upbit saw trading volume explode 273% in 24 hours as local investors returned to crypto. XRP was the most traded asset on the exchange. Retail finally smelled the pump. 📌 Strategy shares jumped 7.5%, reaching their highest level in two months as Bitcoin recovered toward $80K. Saylor's favorite chart is green again. 📌 Strategy still hasn't bought Bitcoin for roughly two months as the company continues building cash reserves. Even Saylor sometimes waits. 🪙 Financial News 📌 Nvidia agreed to provide up to $105B in guarantees to support OpenAI's massive Ohio data-center project and will invest another $1.5B in SB Energy. AI infrastructure is getting ridiculous. 📌 S&P 500 companies are on track for 52% year-over-year Q2 earnings growth, with the technology sector leading at 74%. AI is doing some heavy lifting. 📌 UBS raised its year-end S&P 500 target to 8,100, joining the growing group of Wall Street firms expecting the index to break 8,000. Wall Street found its optimism again. 📌 Global equity funds attracted $22B through August 19, their strongest inflow in three weeks, despite rising bond yields and renewed inflation concerns. Dip buyers never went home. 📌 Tuesday brought a sharp tech selloff as rising Treasury yields and Middle East tensions pushed the S&P 500 down 0.69% and Nasdaq down 1.33%. AI stocks got a reality check. ⚖️ Regulation 📌 The SEC continued pushing toward a dedicated crypto framework, with its proposed “Regulation Crypto Assets” regime designed to clarify how federal securities laws apply to certain crypto transactions. Crypto regulation gets a new chapter. 📌 Trump again pushed Congress to pass the Clarity Act, while the crypto market rallied alongside renewed expectations for clearer U.S. rules. Washington discovered crypto again. ⚙️ Technology 📌 AI adoption in crypto crime increased 40% year over year, according to TRM Labs. AI is increasingly being used for social engineering, vulnerability discovery and scams. Scammers got an AI upgrade too. 📌 BounceBit decided to shut down its standalone blockchain and migrate to BNB Chain after an attacker exploited an authorization flaw and stole around $3M in BB tokens. One exploit, one less blockchain. 📌 Nvidia's huge OpenAI infrastructure deal reignited concerns about circular financing and whether the AI boom is becoming too dependent on massive debt and capital spending. Everyone is financing everyone. 🚨 Hacks & Security 📌 MANTRA Chain halted its network and froze transactions after discovering an incident involving its Cosmos EVM module. DeFi's favorite emergency button.
