Salaam my beautiful friends, I thought I’d just share what I recently posted on my Instagram page — I don’t know who needs to hear it other than myself. But, if you’re on the same boat as me, I hope that you find comfort in knowing that whatever Allah has taken away from you, is only to replace with something far better 🩷 I’m always here for a chat lovelies — reach out to people you trust as you take your time to heal. 🤍, ZS

Sofea’s reflections Ever feel like you’re not doing enough to help the world? 🌍 That was me a few nights ago, but I realised that we’re all capable of making a difference — even if we’re unsure at first! Right now, my focus is on raising awareness on Sudan as much as I am doing it for Palestine and Lebanon. That’s why I’ve joined Project Blackseed, an incredible initiative aiming to raise $1 million globally in just one week for Sudan 🙌🏻. You don’t need to be an expert or have all the answers — just the heart to help! Follow @project.blackseed on Instagram to be a part of the change 💙

Sofea’s random late night thoughts - Special Edition 🌍🩺 Happy World Mental Health Day 💙 Key messages: - Take some time today to reflect on your growth - Emotions, ideally, need to be processed throughout the day. Suppressing them can lead to restlessness or disrupts sleep quality at night - Express your emotions in a way that works for you (e.g., men uses emotional language that relates to their physicality) - Prioritise your mental health A challenge for YOU and I to try! 1️⃣ take at least one hour away from technological devices before bed 2️⃣ pick a day and do something unproductive (stop worrying, just relax) 3️⃣ connection to God, art and nature 4️⃣ spend time in solitude to recharge 5️⃣ take a break from responsibility (say NO, instead of YES when necessary — its not about running away, its about setting boundaries) 6️⃣ enjoy some time alone at home *sometimes the most productive thing we can do is rest — i think we all owe that to ourselves 🩷

Sofea’s random late night reflection 🌙 Key messages: • sometimes, your courage to show up will be exactly what someone else needs to see • when you’re feeling unsure, focus in the importance of your message or what you’re trying to achieve. trust that the significance of your goals can help you move forward, even if you’re not fully confident yet. • don’t wait for the perfect moment or until you feel fully ready - start where you are.

Hey TT Champs! I’m just following up with the previous poll in this video! I have some ideas about how we can take the email approach (where you email me with your concerns and i’ll be your buddy to navigate through it) to another step 💌 Let me know if this is something you think you would benefit from or if we should figure something else in terms of support that TrainTalks can provide you all with. 💛

Hi everyone! Hope you are having an amazing day 🫶🏻 We would like to get some idea of where you are in terms of your experience with peer support program! So, we’re hoping you can help us by answering a few polls down below ⬇️ to help us come up with something beneficial for you all 📝. Thank you so much 💛

a message that i keep telling myself time and time again because i always forget. i’m leaving this here because i know i’m not alone in this 🤍 i hope you will find comfort in knowing that i struggle with lowering my expectations and setting healthy boundaries too. no matter how good your intentions are and how observant you can be about someone’s wellbeing, it is NOT your job to fix them. sometimes, their unwillingness to adjust their own internal damages can easily become damage to you because you are trying to fulfil a role in which you are incapable of fulfilling. as a result, you become very disappointed and frustrated. know when to lean in and attend, know when to pull back and walk away good night x

hey champs! it’s been awhile since we’ve done anything interactive, but i just want to check-in and see how yall are travelling so far! yesterday, i did my 1/2 mental health training as a peer support worker because i’m volunteering at an organisation in my community! but, when I was reflecting on my intentions last night, i realised that a huge part of why i am investing myself into this is because I AM your “talking buddy” aka support friend here on TrainTalks (if you’ve reached out to me via email and DM, you would know). I know just how much you’ve benefitted from just me being easily accessible to all of you. so, in order for me to better support you, emotionally and mentally, I first need to have the best tools at the back of my pocket 🫶🏻 I cannot wait to touch base again with all of you, but for now….i want yall to tell me where you at using this check-in tree ♥️ 💛, zs

Salaam everyone 💛 I hope you’re not getting annoyed that I’m back here often now 🥲. But, just going off yesterday’s check-in, I thought I’d share some posts/duas that have been helping me when I’ve hit rock bottom. I’m not expecting this to help everyone but please….take what you need 💌. My telegram inbox and my email is always open for anyone who wants to talk and let go of what has been bothering you. If you need a friend to talk to, do not hesitate because I’m here to help inshaAllah 🫶🏻

Today was a bit challenging for me as I've been dealing with a cold for the past two days. Being in a foreign country and being alone can sometimes make it difficult to take care of oneself. During times when our physical well-being is compromised, it's easy to fall into negative thinking patterns. I used to be quite skilled at overthinking, which would disrupt my inner peace. So, for all my girlies who could use some guidance in self-regulation, I highly recommend this book that helped me find solace and learn to self-soothe. It provided me with comfort and the motivation to prioritize my physical health and overall energy. It's like a little cloud of positivity and blossoming flowers! Give it a try and see how it can positively impact your self-care journey. xx, T🌸

8/75: Last week, I had a firsthand experience with negging, a term I was previously unfamiliar with. This encounter prompted me to delve deeper into my emotions and thoughts surrounding it. Interacting with individuals who possess different wavelengths and energies can be challenging in social settings. It can also be draining and frustrating. However, it is not always necessary to feel this way. Taking the time to recognize and acknowledge what you are experiencing is a crucial first step in regaining control of the situation. The next step lies in how you choose to respond. Perhaps we can discuss this topic further in the upcoming days. I am curious to know how you all handle difficult people in your own lives. xx, T 🌸

It takes only one candle to set the stage on fire. Be that person who steps out of his/her comfort zone. Be that person who continuously show up. Be that person who is unafraid to advocate for what is right. Be that person who consistently spread awareness. Because, now more than ever, you are needed by the world. always and forever in my mind and heart 🇵🇸🍉❤️
