Let's talk about dogs again 🐶
DOGS has postponed its listing to August 23. This was announced yesterday, and the reaction from people was quite lively. Some were upset and saw it as a red flag, while others were actually pleased.
Overall, I believe there’s nothing to worry about since the project explained the postponement was due to a high volume of withdrawal requests, and they need more time to prepare for the listing.
This is a positive sign because it’s better for them to delay the listing and do everything properly, rather than have a situation where not everyone receives their tokens at the moment of the listing, which would inevitably lead to a lot of backlash.
They also added Bitget to the list of exchanges that will list the token.
📈Market Thoughts and Insights from DEFI Pro Community
It’s interesting 👀
The fund closes the week at highs, with a lot of positive macro data, front-running the rate cut, yet crypto is just standing still and not reacting at all.
Meanwhile, we even have Binance funding turning negative on Bitcoin. This means that short sellers are starting to prevail in the moment. Such a situation hasn't been seen since October 2023 (right when Bitcoin began launching its local bull run).
It’s hard to pinpoint why Bitcoin isn’t following all risk assets in this situation. Correlation, positivity in macro data, a lot of hype news, an increase in the number of short sellers, and so on. It seemed like this was the set of news that could launch Bitcoin towards its ATH.
But so far, we see the opposite. Perhaps, the market makers are trying to undermine the belief that crypto will start rising again this year in an unpleasant way.
On the other hand, Bitcoin has room to drop. But how low can they push altcoins? It seems that there simply isn’t much further to go.

🪙All the info field is buzzing with information about the DOGS drop. Let's go through the tokenomics, what the price will be, and if it makes sense to dump the token right away.
Tokenomics:
- Total supply: 550 billion (compared to NOT, which had 102 billion)
- 81.5% goes to the community (without lock-up)
- 73% for those who farmed tokens in the bot
- 8.5% from the 81.5% goes for rewards for traders, sticker creators, and future community members
- 10% allocated for the team and future development, with a significant portion during a 12-month vesting period
- 8.5% for CEX and DEX liquidity, as well as for listing-related events
🆘The price in the Bitget pre-market is currently $0.0057. This price can be a reference for the listing, but it might be slightly lower, as is usually the case.
💎Should tokens be dumped immediately? It all depends on how many tokens you have and if it's worth selling them right at the beginning. I would take profits in parts. I would leave a portion of the drop funds for repurchases after the quick dump of the drop.
🐶Definitely, there are prospects for DOGS since it’s likely that the team behind it is connected to Durov, who plans to tokenize stickers and emojis as NFTs. Durov discussed this at the Token2049 conference.
There's a lot to think about and research, so get to it before August 20th.

😎Did you notice how Ethereum performed stronger than Bitcoin yesterday?
To understand why, let's look at the Net Flow of money in the Ethereum ETF. And what do we see there? Yesterday was our first day without outflows from Grayscale's ETHE. I can hardly believe it myself, but it's a fact.
Using yesterday as an example, we can immediately see how Ethereum can get a boost in the current situation when Grayscale is not selling. It is evident how the ETF influences the market situation.
While Bitcoin didn't move much, Ethereum rose more than 5% in a day. All it took was for Grayscale to stop its pressure. Therefore, I think that in the future we will see value from the launched ETFs on Ethereum and, as a result, a good increase in prices.
