It stopped raining for a few hours this morning, just in time for a guided tour in the Hansaviertel district.

So, I updated my blog’s CSS to use nesting in source files. Not that I needed that, but it’s Saturday, and I’m bored and curious. I used LightningCSS to compile the backward-compatible result. My favorite part was this rule for nested content lists 🤔

Stopped by Dussmann today… Or rather, stuck there for more than an hour, but that’s not the point! I’m always looking for typography books when I’m in a bookstore. And I found this nice non-fiction one by Keith Houston. Beautifully designed, too.

It was a lovely sunny morning today, so I had to take a photo of my typical breakfast. Earl Grey tea, half a glass of orange juice, yellow apple and banana (half in the bowl, half out), blueberry, kefir or yogurt with crunchy muesli.

Today I shipped my work laptop back since it was my last day. This is how I’m going to spend my days now. Nah, just kidding! Tomorrow I’m heading to DevFest Nantes to help set up a podcast studio. And I already have an offer to the next place, no reason for the sad face ☺️

I like that you can make a grid layout inside the <img> and align the alt text of a loading/broken picture in the middle. Unfortunately, only in Firefox, but still! 🤯
