Repost from The Burkean
None of this is to deny that Russia, China, or Iran might take an interest in Irish discontent; great powers, like bored cats, will paw at anything that moves. But the more pressing curiosity is the unexamined role of the Institute for Strategic Dialogue itself presented, with a straight face, as a neutral referee in the global struggle against โmisinformation,โ despite its clear origins within the Anglo-American security ecosystem, funding from Biden-era State Department nevermind its founderโs cheerleading role for Zionism.

A U.S. congressional judiciary committee has accused the European Commission and Irelandโs media regulator, Coimisiรบn na Meรกn, of collaborating with politically biased fact-checkers and NGOs in what it describes as a campaign of election interference ahead of the last two Irish elections.
The committee alleges that the Irish media regulator sought โto censor true information and political speechโ on polarizing topics such as the Covid-19 pandemic, mass migration, and transgender issues.
These claims are detailed in a report titled The Foreign Censorship Threat, Part II: Europeโs Decade-Long Campaign to Censor the Global Internet and How It Harms American Speech in the United States. The document was released while Irelandโs Minister for Justice, Helen McEntee, is in Washington this week for political meetings.
The report emphasizes that most major technology companies have their European headquarters in Dublin, making Irish electoral outcomes particularly consequential for the European Commissionโs digital policy agenda and the enforcement of the Digital Services Act (DSA). It adds: โFor the same reason, Irelandโs media regulator, the Coimisiรบn na Meรกn, is one of the most powerful in the world.โ
Similarly, the report accuses the European Commission of activating a censorship apparatus known as a โrapid response systemโ ahead of several recent European elections under the auspices of the Disinformation Code and the DSA Election Guidelines:
"European Commission-approved fact-checkers are given the ability to make priority censorship requests in the weeks before and after major elections."
"These so-called fact-checkers are invariably leftwing and pro-censorshipโanything but politically neutral. Moreover, the requirement that these fact-checkers be approved by the European Commission creates a clear structural incentive for the participants to censor Euroskeptic opinion and content that undermines the Commissionโs preferred political narratives."

We're definitely at the stage where where we now get to sample Somalia's distinctive brand of deranged violence.
The IPO has been expediting them through the system and granting refugee status in 99% of cases for the last few years.
This one travelled through Italy and Germany before claiming asylum in Dublin and then moving to Armagh.

The number of unaccompanied minors applying for asylum but later deemed โineligibleโ due to their real age has more than doubled since 2023.
Over the past three years, nearly 200 adult asylum seekers were placed in Tusla care homes before it was discovered they were over 18.
These figures come as Fine Gael TD James Geoghegan criticised โcontradictory accountsโ about which agency is responsible for age verification in the international protection system.
At an October meeting of the Public Accounts Committee, officials stated the matter was for Tusla. However, in followโup correspondence, the Department of Justice clarified that responsibility lies with the International Protection Office (IPO).
โWe now know that while the IPO is legally responsible for age assessment, the department has admitted that Tuslaโs views have, in practice, been treated as decisive โfor many yearsโ. That was never disclosed to PAC during the hearing,โ Geoghegan said.
โThis blurring of roles has created a system where legal responsibility, operational practice and accountability simply do not line up.โ
The system shambles has been thrown into the spotlight after revelations that the Somali asylum seeker charged with murdering 17โyearโold Ukrainian Vadym Davydenko (ะะฐะดะธะผ ะะฐะฒะธะดะตะฝะบะพ) in a Tusla care home is now believed to be an adult.
Unverified rumours have circulated suggesting that Davydenko was stabbed and mutilated following an argument about food in the gated apartment complex where both he and the unnamed Somali were accommodated but no official details of the killing have been confirmed.
Two weeks before his 18th birthday when he would be eligible for conscription, Davydenko left his girlfriend and fled from Ukraine to Poland but missed a connecting flight to Dublin. His parents told Ukrainian reporters that they urged him to return home, but he boarded the next flight before being murdered in a Tusla care three days later.
Following his death, Irish Times journalist Kitty Holland told the Pat Kenny Show that Davydenko had travelled to Ireland to study computer science so he could return home and contribute to the war effort, but this contradicted Ukrainian reporting that Davydenko had recently been accepted to a Kharkiv university to study computer science there.
Among Ukrainians commenting on reports of his murder, the most common phrase was: โYou canโt escape your fate.โ

Repost from The Irish Inquiry
We gave Asylum Millionaire Cyril Duffy an Irish welcome when he returned from his luxurious home in Malaysia... but what did he have to say when we challenged him during a dinner party about flooding our tiny community with 1,000 unvetted migrants? Has he any regrets since DOUBLING the population of our village? Or is he happy to continue to earn millions in tax payer funds? We answer the question that I get asked everyday... Did I get my phone back? (after the device was stolen by Duffy's hotel manager Wilson Bird), and will there be a criminal investigation or DPP prosecution in relation to this theft?

I notice one common factor in all the mainstream coverage of the huge spoiled vote result as the talking heads wrestle with explaining it to their audience.
Conspicuously absent from their lips is their usual go-to label: "far-right.".
All Labour leader Ivana Bacik could offer was that she was concerned about it being 'orchestrated'.
While Anton savage on Newstalk, playing dumbstruck, regretted it was impossible to decipher what the spoiled vote meant as everyone had scrawled different messages on their ballots. ๐
