⚫️Compounding: تركيب
Is simply the joing of two or more words into a single words.
As in "airstrip"

⚫️Derivation: اشتقاق
Is the forming of new words by combining derivational affixes or bound bases with existing.
As in "teleplay"

⚫️Invention: اختراع-انتاج كلمه جديده كليه
Invented new words these find their way into the common vocabulary.
Iike "kodak"

⚫️Echosim: صوت لشيءٍ ما
Is the formation of word whose sounds suggests there meaning.
Like "hissالافعى , clickضغط الزر , quackصوت البط "

⚫️Clipping: اختصار
Cutting off the begining of the end of a word , or both , leaving a part to stand for the whole.
Like "math , gym , exam "

⚫️Acronymy: اختصار لكلمه طويله
Is the prosses whereby a word is formed from the initial segmthes of a succession of words.
Like. " USA , CIA "

⚫️Blending: دمج كلمتين
Is the fusion of two words into one..
Usually the first part of one word with the last part of another.
As in "gasohol" comes from "gasoline + alcohol"

⚫️Back-formation: تشكيل عكسي--تحويل اسم الى فعل
It means making verb from the noun exist by the mind. **I'm not sure"😐
Or.... Is an active source of new words today.
Ex/ What dose a feeper do?

⚫️Falk Etymology: تغيير الكلمه لتصبح مفهومه ومناسبه
Changing a word in part or in whole to make it more understandable and more fimiler words.

⚫️Antonomasia: اسم مكان او شيء على اسم شخص
Means the formation of a common noun , a verb or an adjective from the name of a person or place.
Ex/ the FRISBEE comes from the Farisbie Bakery

Is the process of forming a new word by doubling a morpheme , usually with a change of vowel or initial consonant.
