BREAKING: A Sinton woman has been charged with stealing more than $1.6 million from her employer, according to criminal complaints. Investigators say the company uncovered months of unauthorized transactions before reporting the theft. Vanessa Elizabeth Slaton, 43, is now facing five first-degree felony charges of theft of property valued at $300,000 or more.
