The procedure was performed normally, but instead of using topical strawberry anesthesia, as usual, pineapple was used. The patient had multiple lesions and desquamation on the lower labial mucosa, with a burning sensation and mild pain. It disappeared within 48 hours, having been diagnosed as allergic contact stomatitis.
